STFRD is a DJ-led project rooted in hard house, trance and techno, with a focus on pace, flow and long-form mixing. The emphasis is on building sets that move properly, hold momentum and make sense over time rather than chasing moments.

The sound leans on driving grooves, sustained energy and clean transitions, keeping things tight and purposeful without overcomplicating it. It’s music meant to be played loud, but mixed with intent.

This page is mainly used for full DJ mixes, extended sessions, edits and personal productions, all of which sit around the same core sound and support the way the sets are built.

Written mostly in the psych ward in Columbus, these tracks were born in isolation and fed on fluorescent lights, wrong medicatios, and the loud tumbling of unraveling minds.
Influenced by Slinkmeal’s gritty work and a nod to the legend Millie Jackson, this album stitches genres into a blood-soaked bowtie —lo-fi, noise-core, garage punk, and demonic psych-funk all vomited into a minor key and remixed until it screamed.
The sound? Sweaty, mildewy, unhinged, and mean.
The vibe? Post-overdose. Pre-apocalypse. Always real.

I started my djing journey mixing vinyl in the late 90's on my Technics 1210's, mainly so I could make my own mix tapes. Aido's journey into dance music started when his cousin first introduced him to the iconic rave album, The Experience by The Prodigy, igniting a passion for high-energy breakbeats, infectious stabs and uplifting riffs. 

By the age of 16, he had acquired his first set of belt-drive decks, and although he found all forms of dance music appealing, he eventually discovered the sound that truly resonated with him: Hard House. Aido had found his nectar. 

Spotting Lisa Lashes' orange Euphoria in his local record store sealed the deal—Hard House offered the same kind of fast, adrenaline-pumping fun as The Prodigy. From here he began to fill his record collection with tracks from prominent hard house labels at the time such as Tidy, Shock and 12inch Thumpers. Fuelled by the positive response to  mixtapes he shared with friends, Aido was firmly in his element.

However, after some life-changing events, Aido stepped back from DJing, initiating a 20-year hiatus. However, his love for the music never faded, and now, he's back, picking up exactly where he left off.

Aido is ready to deliver a sound that is a potent blend of filth, driven by pounding basslines, hectic hoovers, savage synths and unadulterated fun. Prepare to have your senses rattled as he delivers mixes defined by speed, power, and pure euphoric energy.
