Eyes of the Innocent formed one sunny day while drinking quietly in a corner stall of a local Wetherspoons. Everything was new and nobody knew what to expect, but there was a common goal and that was enough!

Our first Single, Bravery, was released on the 4th January 2012, followed closely by our four track début E.P, Paragon of Virtue recorded by Dan Lucas at the legendary Anchor Baby Recording Studio.

We appeared on Academy FM during both February and April 2012 to promote the E.P and have played numerous local gigs.

Our next E.P, title to be announced, will be released April this year, recorded by our good friend Nick Mayes at West Track Studios.

A-Maz, also known as King or A-Mizzy started working on himself as a musician in 2009 and having no teacher, mentor or guide, he had to learn to harness his voice and emotions through a series of trial and error experiments. The first of these experiments was his debut song ‘Greenland’ with close friend, Ola Blaq and sadly, it flopped. He however continued on that path till he started finding his footing and is now primarily a very emotional singer that delves into rap now and then when the situation calls for it. His music addresses real life situations and his music is as real as they come. His music has a deep soulful sound with a lot of African influence especially in the percussions. His musical influences are slow, soul artists like The Weeknd, Drake, Adele and various artists across every genre. 
He was born in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria and attended secondary school in Jos. He credits his decision to delve into music to the influence Jos City had on his teenage years. He is currently an undergraduate of the University of Maiduguri where he has done a few live performances.
He released his first mixtape 2011 titled ‘Sickler’ which was not so well received. A-Maz then put in more work and started working on new projects. The first is aptly titled ‘Journey To The Top’ with a couple of well-received single and then a series of covers on YouTube called ‘The Classick’ with a couple of videos already released.

Original and diverse composer and sound designer of intuitive, beautiful, instrumental music with pristine production fidelity.  PRS and PLL member. Loads of retro electronic music and new stuff too as a composer and producer of melodic soundscapes and driving tunes, GJ has crafted inspirational music where you can blissfully lose yourself, and yet find yourself refreshed.
