They are most at home when on stage cooking up captivating mixes of IDM, club music and drum & bass with smart infusions of influences from South East Asia and a sense of spiritualism that sees all things as equal. Their productions have come on labels like Cultivated Electronics and Pinkman and always push technical and emotional boundaries. 

The pair will be joining us at Dekmantel Festival 2024 in August and here offer up a teaser of what you might get: darkly involving moods, industrial textures and otherworldly timbres that are paired to a wide range of rhythms and tempos. There is a looseness to the set that keeps your body in constant motion while the details woven in between the beats keep your mind just as busy. rbf.linh is the solo project of Linh Luu, a Rotterdam-based artist, live performer, and producer.  Known also as one half of Animistic Beliefs, Linh channels her experiences as a queer, Vietnamese-Chinese person growing up in the West into dark, unpolished dance music that serves as a bold protest against Asian binary stereotypes.

Her hi-octane mix for the fifth installment of Hyper Real Radio is a peak-time, eclectic, and ecstatic exploration of the South-East Asian hard dance scene and the high-BPM frontiers of leftfield rave culture. It seamlessly blends hard-hitting Guaracha, hyper-charged Jersey club, trance-infused Breakcore, peak time post-Chaabi and even Vietnamese children's songs.

Co-founder of Metaphore Collectif, Shlagga is a DJ based in Marseille, a city he has been working to promote through various projects since 2010. As an initiator, programmer, and resident of Meta – a space for free, independent, and self-managed parties – and closely involved in local party initiatives, Shlagga is a true activist of the Marseille alternative scene. Opposing the idea of fitting his music into categories and always in search of new sounds, Shlagga's DJ sets go beyond stylistic considerations: weaving a thread between different spaces and times, they include a wide range of genres such as bass music, post-club, and trance intertwined with industrial rock as the backbone of his universe. Hybrid and kaleidoscopic, Shlagga's performances are, as he defines them himself, "a rave for the weirdos."
