Lil backstory: It took me 5 times to record this mix, as the weather conditions are unpredicatble in the north of Bali. Looking back, I'm so happy to have woken up at 4.30 all those days before, as I wouldn't have had the chance to dance with this happy gentleman at 28:36 that day– A very funny and humbling moment. Like Water (feat. Mohna)
Originally the song was an improvised, acoustic piano piece I used to play at the live shows. It was born out of a happy accident while we were soundchecking for a concert and Mohna was improvising vocals to the piano. After we had played it a few times live I decided to record it. The song has changed completely from its initial acoustic version.
