Rob Silas "Si-Dog" Moved to Orlando from CT in 1993 after college, where he was quickly was introduced to the Florida EDM Rave scene. Rob moved to Florida to find a band as a Drummer by trade, but was quickly consumed into the Orlando EDM club scene and decided to start DJing and producing Breakbeat Electronic Music in 1994. Signed to the Indie Label Phattraxx in 1997, He released tracks under that label until he started his own label DogEatDog Records. www.soundcloud/DEDR

Si-Dog Dee-Jayed some huge events over the years like Zen 98’, where he opened for the Chrystal Method for 20,000 patrons in attendance. Another big event was Usuaya in Gainesville & Jacksonville in the mid 90’s. All in that time he’s played night clubs all around Florida. Simons, Firestone, and The Beacham to name a few.. In 2000 a new venue in Hartford CT club called him to be the head DJ and international talent promoter from 2000 to 2004. Si-Dog had his own radio show webcast Stim-U-Late, (fathered by the Trance Domain) and then starting playing gigs in the Northeast From Philly to New Hampshire Si-Dog has a webcast channel as well with his own u-stream radio station where you can watch him over the internet when he performs as well. www.ustream.tv/channel/doggymix

Rob got married in 2006 and started a family, & travels back and forth to Florida monthly.. Recharged in back in the Florida Scene in 2013, Si-Dog has been back to his roots producing tracks. He has many charted tracks on Beatport's top 100 with include many originals & remixes. One that stands out is Deekline’s Can't Hide It remix (that won a World Wide remix competition with over 500 other entries involved). Si-Dog has also collaborated with Beatport Breaks top 10 producers, Huda Hudia, Bradley Drop, Agent K & Sweet Charlie to name a few, that have tracks that reached the #1 position on Beatport Breaks.

Rob’s other passions is event production, DEDR threw a huge event at Firestone in December 2012 called the Leaders of the True School, Rob was a presenter of the show, that showcased Colombo with is 1st ever Florida appearance from Spain. Si-Dog also highlights his label with a event at WMC / MMW to showcase the artists on his label & to further continue artist development. That is his biggest joy for him & to have the Breakbeat genre continue. He has partnered up with Glyn Morgan of FSOB, with Old Skool Reunion and LOTS 2 to close out 2013. In 2014 DEDR celebrated 15 years with a huge event in South Beach Miami Rooftop pool with the biggest names in the Breaks Industry on the bill AND in attendance!.
