In the middle of the summer Yeho, an Israeli musician coming from Tel Aviv, was wandering around Italy and randomly he found himself in the “Quintino Basement”, lair of Ninja Exotic Machine.
This casual encounter gave birth to three new tracks where the
duo’s downtempo and tribal style merges with Yeho’s crisp and raw vocal together with intriguing percussions samples extracted from live recordings of the percussionist Andrea Greco.
The result is an Ep called “36 questions” out on Pho Bho Records on the 14th of October.

Taking the controls for our first podcast of 2022 is Younger Than Me.

With early turns on labels such as Bordello A Parigi, XXX, Bar Records and Dischi Autunno, it's safe to say Francesco is doing the business and hitting the sweet spot with us at Viscera HQ. 

Delivering a modern crossover of ‘90s influenced progressive house, trance, EBM, breakbeat and techno within his productions, his DJ sets are not dissimilar, riding along a fun yet forceful sound and we just cannot get enough.

For today's mix, Younger Than Me dives headfirst into the cosmos, gripping brash breaks and aggressive melodies along the way.

It's Been a long time since we released the last chapter of our series "Saturns". We've decided to get back to darkness in 2022 and bring many new episodes of the series.

Atlantic Brain has been in the business for a while releasing under many monikers excellent works that vary from Disco to Ambient. This time Munchen's based producer get into "acid"

Cornelius Doctor does his thing by turning up the track into a darker and more mental zone. Hard Fist's capo delivers a new version of "Cine Colibri" where 90's breaks will be the main character of the story. An overwhelming and solid track straight to the most selected dancefloors.

Kicking things off is EP lead, 'Slow Burn 2049' - a track which rides aloft raw breakbeat drum patterns - whilst plush, ambient synths billow out succulent, windswept melodies. Then we have Duncan Forbes' (@@49north-recordings) very own ‘Logan’s Run’ re-rub of '49North EP3' 's 'Omnite' - a beastly slab of purposeful Techno, that appears to pay homage, however subtly - to a certain, widely cherished 80's classic in the process.

Cooper Saver (@coopersaver) then steps up to the 'Slow Burn 2049' remix plate - delivering an entrancing piece of slo-mo, percussion-laden magic; before the mighty Locked Groove takes us over the finish line - twisting Duncan's 'In The Mansion Of The Gods' into a dark, dub-washed Techno titan.

Joshua Idehen, Sons Of Kemet collaborator, and fresh from a release working with Daedelus joins forces with former alt-J Musician Gwil Sainsbury aka LOOR.

LOOR and I met on instagram. I was falling back into trance heavily so it felt so I really got into his Waters Album, and this was before I found out what he’d been doing prior. We talked about collaborating on a track, but then we ended up ranting hard about The State Of Things - it was clear we were on the same wavelength, politically,  Angry An  Feeling Numb At The Same Time. When he sent over the beats for me to choose one, I had a listen through and I knew I was gonna ask to do an EP with him. We settled very quickly on the four themes of the project: Politics, Hope, Despair, Rage

The last track I wrote was Kill The Bill.  It’d taken a few tries to nail the verse at first; I knew I wanted a punchy opener, something that set the tone and captured the emotion. I follow James O’Brien on twitter, and for a while he started the day with the line “what fresh hell is this”. And I was like, yeah, that’s it; incredulousness.

OMDD 41 - Joshua Idehen & LOOR - Kill The Bill (My Spirit is Not For Kettling) EP

Not many people knew about the wonders of this underground party. It was, and always had been, a word of mouth situation, restricted to those who were non-judgmental and willing to let go of their inhibitions. This is the way it would always be: it ensured the space to be safe, sacred and untouched, and the partygoers to be faces who'd soon become friends and not remain strangers. 

For their next release, a digital two-tracker titled The Leisure Hive, NYC's Throne Of Blood link up three Philadelphian artists: Optimo and Les disques de la mort signees Zillas On Acid and Permanent Vacation and Mister Saturday Night alumni Alex Burkat. The three artists first met at Dave P's Making Time parties where the former duo have been resident DJs for years. It's this night that inspired the idea behind this new release: two "psychedelic dance floor jams" that are custom-made to soundtrack the frivolities at open-minded soirees like Making Time.

In his EP Phoenix he returns to his roots: Heyday electro sound of early 00’s is resurrected in modern way. Conceptually it is a story of imaginary mechanic Phoenix bird living in imaginary world. Synthetic ecstatic dreams of primitive man who just started to make music.
First track «Phoenix» is tribalistics trancy affair with strange flutter melody that tracks down your unconscious instincts and leads to ecstatic heavens. 
«Deja Vu» is a pitched down breakbeat track with EBM flavor that influenced by something unheard and familiar at the same time.
«Ghosting» is a slowed down paranoid vision of man who suddenly gets ignored by his loved on.
«Bedouin» track sounds like last afterparty track on caveman gathering where everybody is chilling after nice hunt and remembers the experience. 
«Evil Live» is mysterious slow roller that builds and builds its melody that reminiscent unheard version of Prodigy «Posion» track.
