Este é um projeto brasileiro de música urbana colaborativa, construído sobre anonimato, tempo e ruído.

Os artistas que participam não se conhecem, não assinam seus nomes e não sabem quem mais está envolvido. Cada membro recebe apenas um convite por ano, enviado de forma automática por uma rotina já programada — um sistema que seguirá ativo até 2030.
Até hoje, ninguém sabe quantos artistas participam do projeto.

As colaborações acontecem à distância, em silêncio.
Quando todos os envolvidos sinalizam que uma música está finalizada, apenas o fundador assume a publicação e a administração do perfil no SoundCloud. Não há créditos, não há biografias individuais, não há palco — só o som.

Os estilos orbitam a música urbana e os breaks:
rap, grime, jungle, drum’n’bass, entre outras variações.
Como o grupo é diverso, as faixas refletem mistura, contraste e fricção, mas existe um fio condutor claro:
letras contundentes, instrumentais pesados e uma atmosfera agressiva, sem concessões.

O projeto nasceu em 2020, em meio à pandemia, e levou tempo para encontrar sua forma atual. Esse amadurecimento faz parte da obra. Nada aqui é urgente — tudo é intencional.

O futuro permanece aberto.
Planejamos lançar novidades inesperadas, experimentos quase insanos e estamos sempre abertos a parcerias com selos e coletivos de mente verdadeiramente aberta.

Aqui, o anonimato não é ausência.
É método.
É estética.
É linguagem.

This is a Brazilian collaborative urban music project, built on anonymity, time, and noise.

The artists involved do not know each other, do not sign their names, and do not know who else is participating. Each member receives one invitation per year, sent automatically by a system already programmed to remain active until 2030.
To this day, no one knows how many artists are part of the project.

Collaborations happen remotely, in silence.
When all involved agree that a track is finished, only the founder handles the release and manages the SoundCloud profile. There are no credits, no individual biographies, no spotlight — only the sound.

The project orbits urban music and break-driven genres:
rap, grime, jungle, drum’n’bass, and related forms.
Because the group is diverse, the music reflects variety, contrast, and friction, but a clear thread connects everything:
sharp, confrontational lyrics, heavy instrumentals, and an aggressive atmosphere, without compromise.

The project was born in 2020, during the pandemic, and took time to reach its current form. That maturation is part of the work itself. Nothing here is rushed — everything is intentional.

The future remains open.
We plan to release unexpected ideas, borderline-insane experiments, and we actively welcome partnerships with labels and collectives that truly have an open mind.

Here, anonymity is not absence.
It is method.
It is aesthetics.
It is language.

OPTIV is a name firmly embedded in both the forefront and deep memory of any true fan of drum & bass. He emerged into the scene with the seminal Cause4Concern sound, which made an enduring mark that influenced many of today’s great artists, including Noisia, and helped to mould the tech aesthetic that we –know today. The Optiv moniker erupted into existence a few years after the establishment of Cause4Concern, with the founding of his own label Red Light Records in 2002, an imprint that continues to be influential in both launching the careers of promising artists such as Inward, Hanzo & Randie, Impak as well as putting out high quality audio from established artists such as Tobax, Telekinesis, The Upbeats and Black Sun Empire. This is in addition to running the pioneering C4C Recordings imprint, that’s been committed to pushing forward-thinking tech for close to two decades now.
Over the course of Optiv’s prolific and long-running solo career, he’s released on a significant range of labels, including leading taste-makers such as Virus, Playaz, Blackout, Subtitles, Eatbrain, Hospital, Shogun Audio, Invisible and Dispatch to name just a few. His commitment to a pure analogue sound, inspired by his techno and electro roots, in combination with a stripped aesthetic that requires audio purity, has ensured that his sound remains both timeless and ahead of the pack. With years of experience behind him to apply to the dance, as well as his immaculate sense for freshness, Optiv is a tried and tested artist who continues to make a significant impact on the drum & bass sphere.
