 The next stage of Swiss based DJ and producer DANIEL PORTMAN is a bright and delightful one. Progressive house music at its best. Right where his roots are, where he rose out of nowhere 10 years ago like phoenix out of the ashes and built himself slowly a name with steady high-class productions.
The first decade brought him on some of the biggest stages and to some of the most exotic places in the world.
LINGUA starts the new decade and a new Daniel Portman era. With a smooth and very catchy arpeggio line, a heart breaking chord progression in the breakdowns as well as some innovative but still pumping drum sections Daniel shows why he still has it, why experience and wisdom can make a little difference.
On the AA-side BENHAM CREEK rocks with a rolling psy bassline and a amtmospheric oriental flute solo that lifts the track up to the gods of psy-house music. Yes, some might say, this still has to be invented. We say, it already has been invented and Daniel Portman takes good credit for that.

House Music With Love return with another one of their fresh EPs, this time from the dream team of Kaldera and Lazarusman with remixes from Urmet K, SURAJ and Simina Grigoriu & Moe Danger. 

Kaldera a producer from Northern Europe and Lazarusman a poet from Southern Africa and their rhythmic, spiritual journey always makes for real musical adventures. That is the case here with Oceans of My Mind, a deep, swelling house tune with great chords and a dark bassline. The thought provoking vocals drift up top as the turbulent grooves roll on and bring real class to the floor. 

The Urmet K remix is more blissful and laid back, with breezy chords and gentle beats rolling you into a trance. SURAJ then layers in plenty of cosmic melody, gives centre stage to the poetic spoken world vocal which brings a romantic feel to the tune. Then last of all Simina Grigoriu & Moe Danger close things out with a more direct, techno leading version that has brilliantly frazzled chords and deriving drums taking you deep into an eerie night. 

This is a versatile and vital EP that covers plenty of ground in real style.

Founded by label boss Einmusik end of 2008, the imprint has grown to a large family with members from Beirut, Toronto, Madrid, Amsterdam and many more cities. To celebrate 10 Years of it’s creative journeys and visions, Einmusika asked some friends and highly respected musicians to pick their favourite track from the past 10 Years for a very particular remix. 

So this time we’ll bring ya „J’oublie“ remixed by Olivier Giacomotto - a big dancefloor number. Dave Seaman remixed Tim Engelhardt’s “Vega“ and this one stays in your mind for hours. 3000 Grad founder Mollono.Bass comes with a new version of “Multiple Life“ by Einmusik - one for the hot nights and the festivals around the globe. We asked Julian Wassermann about his fave Einmusika track and he picked “La Danse Du Scorpion“ by Sébastien Léger - the one which made the clubs shaking in 2017 and is now putted to the next level with a darker attitude and clubby sounds. Emotional and uplifting comes Paji’s version of “Starlings“ by N’to, what an unique remix - individual and spheric.

Einmusik - Multiple Life (Mollono.Bass Remix)

Sag & Tre is proud to present the first volume of the "Freshly Picked" compilations featuring a range of hand-selected music to kick off the New Year, 2019.

Featuring scene stalwarts signed to labels/collectives such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Rebellion der Traumer, Dream Culture, Where The Heart Is + more, the compilation is set to turn heads, and stay in your record box for a while. The compilation also features a couple of newcomers, who compliment the entire piece offering something new, instead of deducting from the experience.

Elias Dore is the next announced artist for this compilation. Originally from Berlin, Elias explored many facets of music, but what has over time stayed with him is his love for melodic warmth and organic sounds. Elias has been trusted to provide warmup support for Rampue, Nico Stojan, Mira, Nicola Cruz, Holger Hecler and many more. While he regularly plays in Berlin’s well known clubs such as Sisyphos or Katerblau, he recently picked up some producing boots and made this beautifully unique composition called “Ayasa”.

This is one of the many Sag & Tre fruits off the compilation, all to be revealed before December 25th, when the compilation is up for pre-order. 

Artists like Powel, Jean Caillou and Ramiro Rossotti have already been announced to appear on the compilation. “Freshly Picked Vol. 1” will release on all digital stores and streaming services on Friday, January 4, 2019.

We proudly present the stunning 'Buttercup' release by Padai featuring the hauntingly beautiful vocals by Hazel Ivy. A genius piece of work that we feel will prove to stand the test of time. It's one of those rare timeless tracks that reminds us of the heyday of progressive house; the early 00's. And when you combine the vibe of that magical time in music with modern day production techniques, seamlessly carried out by a very talented producer, magic happens!

On the B-side you'll find 'Sara', a deep and mysterious production enriched with layers of dreamy soundscapes and subtle synth melodies. It's one of those heady late night songs that captures you into the groove and won't let you go.

A proper MNL debut here by the producer Northern Ireland, hot on the heels of his Manual Music debut 'Enu'. Highly recommended!

Montreal producer Deric Frey makes his debut on Plaisirs Sonores Records by delivering a quality release with two super ethereal tracks. On remix duty, Strinner, who already released on great labels like Steyoyoke, Click Records and Timeless, remixes Interstellar Highway adding weight and more dynamic pattern to the beat. Progressive House master Michael A put his own touch on Weather Modification by creating a groovy version of the track.

An iconic name that stretches back over a decade, Embliss returns to Proton Music courtesy of the thematic, "Soria Moria", further enhanced by remixes from Australian and Irish icons.

Firmly ensconced in his adopted Norwegian home, Dutch artist, Tim Brandwijk, has been a prominent figure in the progressive scene with his Embliss moniker since early work for breaks-centred, Morphosis Records. Subsequently going onto to release on industry leaders, Silk Music, Armada and Anjunadeep, Embliss' Proton Music history is centred around 2013's "Stronghold" EP and a glorious remix of Dousk's "Look Good Tonight". Taking its musical cues with haunting melodies and tension-filled keys that reference the "Soria Moria" castle from classic Norwegian fairy-tale, the title track is rich in atmosphere and saturated refrains, with audio glue provided by a metronomic beat, fizzing hi hat percussion and tightly locked bass groove. "Lone Wolf" immediately impress with its strong broken-beat rhythm that references a golden musical era. A huge bassline adds warmth and depth in equal measure while the rippling melodies central to the Embliss sound make their presence felt in impressive detail. Textured pads and a chorus of subtle, pitched effects add depth and intrigue in a track full of poise, craft and originality.

An Irish producer, of similar musical significance, Silinder, has been a consistently high-profile figure in the underground progressive scene. A regular on Proton Music since a December 2011 remix of Lank's "Needless Solution", a trio of themed original EPs saw "Corrupt", "Solas" and "Basement" bookmark the Silinder production career between 2012 and 2015. A clutch of blue-chip remixes for Dousk, Navar and Andre Sobota have showcased another skillset and it is a pleasure to welcome him back with a typically flowing remix of Embliss. Reworking "Soria Moria", Silinder cleverly interprets the central melodic and bass themes, transforming them with his trademark flair. Framed by a rapid-fire hi hat percussion and club-friendly rolling groove, his skill is to provide a swathe of new production material that reaches its zenith at the breakdown and captures the essence of Embliss' work while creating a stirring new interpretation.

Matter has become a regular contributor to the Proton Music catalogues since a July 2015 debut remixing Biologik. Often with fellow countryman, GMJ, the pair have featured with a host of original production material, centred around the "Superposition", "Osmosis" and "Interscope" EPs while solo outings via "Pronoia" and "We Are Dust" in May 2016 and November 2017 have seen the "deep synth lines and driving bass" from the Australian's studio light up the label. Returning after a solo remix of Hot TuneiK in August 2018, the typically varied sonic palette that he uses to paint such vivid aural pictures, find Matter reinvigorating "Lone Wolf" with a glorious array of motifs and symphonic elements that reach their denouement in an extended breakdown that showcases Matter's continually growing skill and ingenuity. A strong rhythmic pattern and mesmerising groove add further to work of pure imagination.

A new sonic venture from the Embliss imagination finds "Soria Moria" steeped in modern musical folklore with remixes from Silinder and Matter.

Swiss producer Avasono returns to Manual Music's MNL subsidiary for a third appearance after last years' 'Overwhelming Picture' single and his 2017 label debut 'Hummingbird' which both gained a lot of support throughout the scene.

'Riells' might just be his best work to date. An underground tune that starts out with some menacing rolling beats and percussion, quickly to evolve in to a full fletched and very mature sounding crowd pleaser. Stick around until the second part of the track where the synths truly open up and show their pure bliss!

On remix duties we're incredibly happy to welcome one of the hottest producers of the moment on board; Greece's own Ziger! His productions have found their way into the sets of every A-list DJ over recent years, and he's one of progressive house's best selling artists at the moment. A fact which shouldn't surprise you when listening to the stellar remix he created for Avasono.
