Like Telex, Air and Moroder rubbing shoulders in a damp basement, the lead-track flexes its sinewy bassline in slow motion, as vocodized lyrics shepherd the groove into heated, psychedelic pipe dreams. Follow its warped synth streaks and the trail reveals more crumbly, progressively disposing of the foreground elements and disbanding full bars in volutes before its cold, opiated groove falls back into place. Josef Laimon (MiddleSkyBoom) and Eliezer, have always shared similar taste in music and production vision. The Tel-Aviv based producers have released two tracks together, both as a part of compilations by Eskimo Recordings & Night Noise Music. They include lot’s of cut vocals & punk references to most of their tracks. For this new record on Days Of Being Wild, Imagine if Liaisons Dangereuses had joined New Order in 1989 in Ibiza to record Technique. Only they didn’t use the same drugs. They sticked to ether and codeine. So it’s a little bit colder, some sort of bleak exotic slow motion techno. Perfect to forget the summer. On remix duties, the collaboration of two legends that are Daniele Baldelli & DJ Rocca got the premiere treatment, enjoy !

Many of us have reached a stage in life in which we look back upon our younger years and question where on earth the time went. I'm not sure if this is the ultimate message of the Days Of Being Wild guys or whether i'm off the money, however, their music is certainly still a relevant soundtrack to those spending a night on the tiles.

The label have long been good friends of The Ransom Note and it's of little wonder. This year they have been busy continuing to release driven club music from the likes of Middle Sky Boom, Eliezer and Languages. They also lovingly contributed to the Ransom Note "Ciquita" remix series alongside the likes of Moscoman and appeared at our curated stage at Alfresco Festival. This mix is packed full of exclusive material and hence cannot be downloaded, one for the heads.
