Fresh off the release of her theatrical 5-track EP 'Grotto', object blue delivers a deliciously off-kilter, rapid fire mix underlining her love for unexpected turns on the dancefloor, but also incorporating some experimental sounds that mesh with the latest material.

Over the past few years, object blue has since become one of electronic music’s most crucial new artists. Her third critically acclaimed EP in 2019 'FIGURE BESIDE ME' and most recent sweltering collaborative club EP with TSVI on Nervous Horizons Hyperaesthesia garnering support from everyone from RA, The FACE, Pitchfork, Dazed, CRACK, Mixmag, DJ Mag and more. 

She’s turned in remixes for everyone from Murlo to Seb Wildblood, been invited to record her debut BBC R1 Essential Mix and performed live at Paris Fashion Week, after composing the music for Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood SS20. object blue was also announced a SHAPE artist for 2020 alongside artists like Afrodeutsche, Rian Treanor, Jay Glass Dubs, Oli XL and more.

Kiana views their sets as invitations to indulge in sensuality and mischief. The New York-born artist wears many hats in the electronic music world—in their hometown, they are known as someone who divides their time between DJing, promoting and working as a prolific critic for the electronic music publication Resident Advisor.

Their early love for '90s Detroit techno, Chicago hard house and East Coast club grew in tandem with their interest in electronic music's rich Black and queer history. This appreciation for the foundations of dance music, coupled with their relentless passion for storytelling, informs their seductive ebullience behind the decks.
