A dull metallic rumble reaches your ears as the drop pod detaches from the space liner. The capsule starts to decent and accelerate towards the Martian surface. Drop pods have never been your favorite means of transportation. Despite the thinner atmosphere these rides tend to be rather bumpy. As the pod rolls over you hold tight and pray that the last person to inspect this tin can cared enough about their job so you don't end up as another shooting star in the night sky.
