Officiellement lancé en 2011, le duo Yamen & EDA a été remarqué par le label anglais ‘One records’ d’Adam Shelton et Subb-an.

Toujours soucieux d’encourager de jeunes talents, Adam et Ash les invitent alors sur des showcases du Label à la Fabric à Londres mais aussi au Sonar à Barcelone ou encore au Below à Birmingham.

Depuis, Yamen & EDA ont continué leurs sorties sur des labels aux sonorités house et techno comme Shotgun, Elephant Moon, ou leur propre label Maison Mere et ont été joués par des personnalités importantes de la scène comme Raresh, Sonja Moonear, Hamish & Toby ou Apollonia. Melcure10:  We celebrate the 10th vinyl release of Melcure, produced by Omar Akhrif. In this occasion Omar proposes a 4 track EP produced in old fashioned way, generating a unique and homogeneous sound that already characterizes the boy from Verona in his different releases.

Matt was one of the first bodies on a beatnik hosted dance floor way back in 2018 when we managed to get Tristan Da Cunha to come down to our very first party with a beg and a plea. 

Not only was he the first on the dance floor but he then didn’t part ways with until 3 blurry days later, spent in a jam packed Manchester airbnb where the no party policy was rudely unadhered to. There’s a solid foundation for a friendship. 

Matts part of the collective responsible for bringing The Imaginarium in leeds to life which is nothing sort of an effervescent cauldron of culture, sick heads and wall to wall beats. We need more Matt JLs.

So.... I (Adam Ortiz) have been sitting on this Avada Kedavra track and remixes for close to a year now and I wasn't sure when to release it.

J. Skitz says "YO, YOU SHOULD RELEASE THAT AVADA KEDAVRA TRACK/REMIXES FOR HALLOWEEN!!!!"

and I'm like "YEAH BUT ANTONIO HAS SOME TRACKS HE WANTS TO RELEASE ON HALLOWEEN TOO, BRO."

and then it hit me. No one could have thought of this. /s

What if we combine them into one VA Halloween Special. Like Frankenstein's Monster.

And our monster includes remixes from J. Skitz, Subtractive, Memnok (his first release/remix in 10 YEARS!), and Antonio Lombardo himself.

There's a little bit for everyone in here. Kind of like a pillow case full of candy after a full night of trick-or-treating.
