Symbolism makes his debut on Observant with three originals — all stylish linear workouts with compelling drum programming, peppered with synth details for an immersive ride. Joining in for the thrills are Bangalore and Hyderabad-based remixers Anejath and Midnight Traffic, gently guiding us into the enigmatic realms of their creative minds.
The title track, "Signals" commences with formidable subsonics. A deluge of synth motifs and chord dissonances interlock with the drums, immersing us in a cyberpunk fiction scenario. Transitioning towards a minimalist vision, "Turiya" offers a cerebral feast, melded into an uptempo, percussion-heavy groove, maintaining a section of intertwined synths, alternating in and out of focus. Shifting the paradigm into an Amazonian thriller, "Vigere" encompasses richly blended mallets that challenge even the most robust limbs, weaponizing an oddly sensual bassline. It's safe to say that this Berlin-based artist is already crafting future classics.
Switching gears, our first remixer, Anejath, deconstructs "Turiya" into a soul-searching epoch of alternating chords and vocal stabs elegantly arranged over an eager bassline, delivering a perfectly sliced portion of machine funk. Midnight Traffic showcases his daring creativity with his hauntingly seductive interpretation of "Vigere," incorporating squelchy layers and rhythmic overlaps, steadily increasing the tension throughout this seemingly endless roller

Marking his 6th release with the label, Michel’s sound has progressed leaps and bounds but retained all the qualities that initially drew him to the AFR camp. This brand new 4 track EP demonstrates the Argentinian’s production prowess with 3 tough and hard hitting originals . Debuting with the Glasgow based outlet on remix duties is Swedish producer Lakej, whose twisted and atmospheric interpretation of title track ‘Nullah’ further exemplifies his unique take on techno.

Joachim Spieth teases his forthcoming album "Retrace" with the release of the album opener, "Recall," accompanied by a wonderfully dubby, dance-floor-friendly remix from the producer well-known within our community, Luigi Tozzi. 
While Spieth keeps things in a laid-back "sofa surfer" mode with deep, ambient, and dub-tinged atmospheres, Luigi Tozzi's remix expands the dub side of "Recall" into a proper dancefloor groover whose stabs simply envelope a listener like a spider web. 
Spieth and Tozzi, two of techno's distinguished artists, join forces and deliver a creme de la creme dub techno release. This is a great introduction to Joachim Spieth's forthcoming album, "Retrace," due in October. 
The single "Recall" with Luigi Tozzi's remix is coming out on September 6.

Since quantum mechanics arose from classical physics' failure to explain microscopic phenomena, Berlin’s exceptional creative mind Arthur Robert pays tribute to the interaction of little entities that can result in the release of colossal power and provide answers for questions older than the universe itself with his Particle Accelerator EP on The Third Room.

Genuine, dynamic techno that defines itself through crisp sound design, memorable textures, and highly compressed, sometimes distorted drum arrangements makes this piece of music a profoundly soundscaped lecture in four classes that gets its final, emotional touch from either melodic compositions or disruptive beeps. Creating those fascinating pieces within fast-paced and hard-hitting club sounds is one of Robert’s trademarks, making him a hugely exciting producer.
