Thanks always to Hitoshi Yasui for his daily musical watercolors and for helping us to adapt these songs. I love the additional colors Guillaume Pearson brought to this one with his string orchestral arrangement. It seems to underscore a feeling of optimistic melancholy that abounds now on day 45 of quarantine here in San Francisco. Happy to have beautiful music that can momentarily assuage feelings of exile and separation. Hope this can provide the same for others who are in the same situation. Stay safe, stay creative and play on.
