how have i fucked it up this time

For the past four years, London Born, Brighton based musician Sam Rowan has been churning out bass heavy, pounding dance music out of his windows by the sea under the alias Orbitor, inspired by the garage beats and drum and bass of the modern era. Alongside this, he's slowly been tapping into other areas of music he's incredibly fond of, namely Jazz, Indie, Bossa-Nova, and Synthpop. While some of these elements definitely have influenced his heavy electronic works, the artist has more recently moved in a incredibly different direction, putting out his debut EP under his real name, Sam has released Buses. a 5 track album of nostalgic grooves, broad yet uncanny influences, working to keep it as tight and controlled as possible in a synth and indie pop/rock mesh, reaching through to grab tools of his jazz repertoire as much as possible while bending genres and tropes to find fresh sounds and rhythms, with no stone unturned. Sam has gone on to release two more singles, Wondering, a homage to the all but familiar feeling of thinking just a little too much about things, and a re-release of the most popular Buses track Could It Be, touting better vocals, better production, and a much fuller master.
