"Mirinae / 미리내" is a dialect of the ancient Jeju Island, it means 'the Milky Way / 銀河水'. In the shape of a huge vortex, hundreds of millions of stars are forming with certain order. Mirinae refer a great cosmic river where dragons were living to the ancient Jeju people.

@huinalidub is mainly a dub techno and dub ambient label with a specific taste, coming from @oslated.

Following the resounding success of their collaborative EP 'Fluids in Motion' released last June on @livity-sound, @azu-tiwaline and @forest-drive-west are once again joining forces to deliver an auditory experience that transcends the ordinary. This partnership, which has already captivated the electronic music community, is set to reach new heights as the two artists blend their unique styles.

Azu Tiwaline, known for her deep, meditative soundscapes that draw from the rich musical traditions of the Sahara, and Forest Drive West, a producer whose work is characterized by its intricate rhythms and immersive textures, have proven to be a perfect match. Their previous collaboration was praised for its ability to seamlessly merge the organic with the synthetic, creating tracks that are both grounded in nature and forward-thinking in their approach to techno and bass music.

Forest Drive West's reinterpretation of "Night In Palmtree" takes us deep into the palm grove for a night inhabited by spirits for a tribal and hypnotic techno banger.

The track is a testament to the duo's ability to create music that is not only meant to be heard but to be felt deeply. It's a true exploration of the unknown, a journey that takes you far beyond the dancefloor and into a realm where time and space seem to dissolve. So proud to share my EP 'Upside Down', released on the legendary Japanese label mulemusiq with you. 🐝

Before we head into faster territories with my releases, I decided to produce something playful, slow and enriched with my acoustic instruments such as my main one, the violin and also one which I've auto didactically taught myself - the flute. I used the traditional Chinese Xiao flute as well as the classic flute. 
It felt so satisfying to weave these beautiful sounds into the arrangements, to let the acoustic world blend into the electronic realm - it works so well 😍

It's been fun to explore the housy territory for mulemusiq in this release. I've always wanted to do that and it ended up to be my very own version of house, as it's located somewhere in between different genres but still offers some characteristics of house in the tracks besides 'Beyond Light and Shade', which is more breakbeaty and might go more into the direction of general Electronica I guess.

The whole cosmos of the EP is a surreal one, inspired by things like Adventure Time, Ghibli and Nintendo games like Zelda BOTW or Animal Crossing. 
I love weird things, which seem to be random at first but still harmonic in a way. The vocal of Upside Down was a freestyle which I recorded in one go - I love writing lyrics and telling stories which make no sense but create a new surreal world, loaded with cuteness, pictures full of fantasy and of course my beloved nature inspired motifs such as leafs growing out of my ears ;)
