HIKARI - DISMANTLE

@raveguardian3000 aka JSKY started DJing approximately one year ago. Since she is one of the persons responsible for the graphic design of the Strictly Strictly (@strictly_confidential) music label, she has got deeper and deeper into the Berlin music scene and at some point got the envy to start herself. JSKY really loves digging from the present and the past, so she is mainly focused on 90s trance, electro, breakbeat, industrial techno and gabber. She has a fable for tracks considered being „too much“ of something, be it too kitschy, too violent, too melodic, too ridiculous and some of them are buried in this mix. We totally love this wild mixture presented in the very first mix by JSKY and hope to catch her live soon.

DJ Overdose is one of the pillars of the Dutch electro scene. He is a low key yet vital artist who hails from The Hague but is based in Rotterdam, and his unique take on electro oozes the atmospheres of these famous musical cities. Ever since starting out in the eighties, he has been looking to cook up a sense of fun, “where the subs are devastating and the beats are raw.” He underpins his work with booming Miami bass and tends not to look outwards across the contemporary landscape, instead, he continues to draw on his love of 80s hip hop for inspiration, then skews it through his own lens.

Groningen based Selin started her artistic career a while ago and has already bagged a DJ residency at the renowned OOST club. Her usual club sets span from techno to groovy house, and throw in some playful electro for good measure. 
In her mix for Schabernack, Selin explores the lines between feather-light breakbeats and iridescent electro and ties it all together with the help of energetic and trancy house grooves. Enjoy!
