Fabrizio Lapiana is an italian DJ, producer and a founder of Attic Music, based in Rome. He started his career as a Dj back in 1994, influenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Rome and Detroit . His dj sets are characterised by his incorporation of the old school aesthetic into his club-based material, that makes his approach kind of unique.

Fluidly moving from ambient/drone to techno and dub, Lapiana's mix for Bassiani is a 115-minute excursion into the mind-bending textures, that allows the artist to share his favourite tracks from varying areas of sonic world and quality dance music.

Submerged in both Djing and production, Fabrizio Lapiana started his career as a Dj back in 1994, influenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Rome and Detroit as well by the first european pioneers of electronic music.

In his DJ sets, Fabrizio makes a precise and intimate techno flow that seduces the dancefloor mixing new and old vinyls range from deep, intricate techno, through an acid and groovy darkness with some melodic gems along the way. 
With his label “Attic Music”, founded in 2008, Fabrizio grow up his sound combining deep aesthetics and techno grooves often allowing ambient or industrial elements. To remember also the strong collaboration with Max_M on his M_Rec 10'' series in 2014, that showed his most emotional view of techno.

His performances in Rome as well in some of the finest wordwide clubs are a way to offer his right vibrations in the techno scene in the last years: the energy created by Fabrizio's sets worth living!

Primal Code is the collaboration of two producers from Milano, Gabriele and Davide. Their sound search is characterized by natural soundscape recordings, hypnotic grooves and nostalgic atmospheres. Their first official release inaugurated a new Hypnus Records Series, titled Serum out on 4th November (hypnus.bandcamp.com/album/eteru). In this podcast you will find some of the tracks that have influenced their creative process and sound identity, ranging from movies soundtrack, to records of deep-techno scene they love.

Ntogn is a techno project developed by Hypnus Records' founder Michel (b. 1988, Sweden) since early 2013. It aims to weave together modern sound design techniques with a fascination for dragons, shamanism and the occult. This has resulted in what Resident Advisor's William Lynch describes as "fierce, artistic techno that sounds like little else out there" and a discography ranging from hard repetitive deep techno to dark, throbbing ambient excursions.

As a DJ-performer, meticulous care is given to harmony and progression in order to create a comprehensive and captivating journey through melodic ambience to harsher hypnotic techno currents. Over the last few years, this has earned Ntogn the recognition not only as a respected label manager and eccentric producer, but also as an inspiring DJ appearing in several prominent clubs around the world such as Khidi (Tbilisi) and Elysia (Basel).

His most recent 12-inch record Sathurnus: I (2017) caught a notable 4/5 review on Resident Advisor and scattered projects over the previous years include a collaboration with fellow Hypnus adepts Luigi Tozzi and Feral, remix duty on Retina.IT's vinyl EP Octagon and a VA appearance alongside the Swedish techno phenomenon Shxcxchcxsh.

고운 선율로 시작해 거칠고 최면을 거는 듯한 음악으로. 이 흐름 속에서 디제이는 음악의 조화와 진화에 대한 섬세한 이해를 바탕으로 관객을 매료시킨다. 몇 년에 걸쳐 Ntogn 은 유능한 레이블 매니저, 개성 있는 프로듀서 였을 뿐 아니라, Khidi (Tbilisi), Elysia (Basel) 등 세계적으로 저명한 클럽에서 플레이하며 영향력 있는 DJ 로도 인정받고 있다.

Jongmin Lee [Oslated] : I think your music and Hypnus records albums are very oriental.
Are you interested in oriental philosophy?

Michel [Ntogn, Hypnus Records] : I used to read some books about oriental philosophy a few years ago.
Especially taoism but of course also quite a bit about hinduism, buddhism, zen, some Tibetan doctrines and other westernized interpretations of it all like Alan Watts and Eckhart Tolle.
Regarding oriental influences on Hypnus I think Feral and Primal Code has been somewhat inspired by Asian culture, nature and thinking.

Jongmin Lee [Oslated] : 당신의 음악과 Hypnus Records 의 앨범들에서 “동양적이다” 라는 느낌을 많이 받았다. 혹시 동양철학에 관심이 있는지 궁금하다.

Michel [Ntogn, Hypnus Records] : 몇 년전부터 동양철학에 관한 책들을 좀 읽곤 했다. 주로 도교 관련 서적들을 읽었는데, 힌두교, 불교, 선 (일본식 불교), 티벳 종교 그리고 서양적 해석이 가미된 Alan Watts 나 Eckhart Tolle 같은 것도 읽어 보았다.
Hypnus Records 가 동양적 성격을 띄는 부분은 Feral 과 Primal Code 가 동양 문화, 자연 및 사상에서 다소 영향을 받았다고 생각한다.

With a creditable discography which includes releases on labels such as Frozen Border, Semantica, Gynoid Audio & Diffuse Reality, Mary has proven that hard work gets you somewhere.
Mary Velo’s releases have gotten rave reviews from sites & magazines such as Resident Advisor, Groove, Fabric, FACT, Little White Earbuds, De:Bug, Juno, & Boomkat. Her tracks have also been played & charted by Silent Servant, Function, James Ruskin, Ben Sims, Rebekah, Brendon Moeller, Edit Select, Dominik Eulberg, Toby Tobias & ROD, which has brought Mary to the list of upcoming techno talents. "Radikal Sound'Boy" a fondé en 2006 le label Radikal Bass, l’incontournable festival "Y'en aura pour tout le monde" en 2008, et sorti les sections "Fourrette Records","Aktiv'Jump" ,"Artikal Step'z" sur son label en 2010. Compositeur acharné depuis ses 14 ans, âge où il débute à la guitare, à la basse, au piano et au chant, il découvre la musique électronique en 1996. Toujours en formation acoustique (métal, rock, reggae) ce n'est qu'en 2000 qu'il commence à se produire en live et au mix avec de nouveaux styles. De la jungle au break, du dubstep aux coups de grosses bass radikal, il enflamme plus d'un dancefloor sous le soleil du Sud de la France. Fort de son expérience musicale et grâce aux multiples influences qu'il partage dans sa musique, on le voit apparaître sur plusieurs scènes alternatives, assurant la première partie de groupes tels que Kaophonik Tribu, Domb, Angstrom, Jazz Steppa, etc. En mode "home studio" depuis 2006, il produit sans fin ses tracks éclectiques pumpin', enivrantes et galopantes aux couleurs de la Fourrette, de la Drum'n'Bass, du Dubstep et du Hiphop. Artiste à suivre de très près!

"Radikal Sound'Boy" is the founder of 2006's label "Radikal Bass", and the creator of the well known festival "Y'en aura pour tout le monde", which started in 2008. He released the "Fourette Records", "Aktiv'Jump" and "Artikal Step'z" sections of his label in 2010. Relentless composer since the age of 14, he started off with guitar, bass, piano and singing, and discovered electronic music in 1996. Still involved in an acoustics formation (metal, rock, reggae), it is only in 2000 that he beggins to play his sound live, filled with new influences, both with machines & turntablism. From Jungle music to Breakbeat, from Dubstep to fat radikal basses, he sets on fire more than one dancefloor under the sunny South France's sky. With proven musical experience and thanks to the many styles he shares within his music, he beggins to appear on many stages, opening the acts of bands such as Kaophonic Tribu, Domb, Angstrom, Jazz Steppa, etc. Since 2006 he turned on the "home studio" mode, and endlessly produces eclectic, intoxicating and jumpy tracks with touches of Fourette, Drum'n'Bass, Dubstep and Hiphop. Artist to watch closely!
