Alberto Novello a.k.a. JesterN’s practice uses found or decontextualized analogue devices to investigate the connections between light and sound in the form of contemplative installations and performances. He repurposes and modifies tools from our analogue past: oscilloscopes, early game consoles, analogue video mixers, and lasers. He is attracted to their intrinsic limitations and strong ‘personalities’: fluid beam movement, vivid colors, infinite resolution, absence of frame rate, and line aesthetics. By using these forgotten devices, he exposes the public to the aesthetic differences between the ubiquitous digital projections and the natural vibrance of analogue beams, engaging them to reflect on the sociopolitical impact of technology in a retrospective on technologisation: what ‘old’ means, and what value the ‘new’ really adds.

His works have been presented at Centre Pompidou in Paris, Museo Reina Sofia Madrid, Amsterdam Dance Event, Venice Biennale, New York Computer Music Festival, Bozar Bruxelles, BOA Biennale Porto, Rewire Festival Den Haag, Glasgow Contemporary Art Center, Dom Moskow, Seoul International Music Festival, Rome University of Fine Arts, to mention a few. He has released records for Staalplat, Bowindo, Elli Records, Dobialabel, Setoladimaiale, Ante-Rasa and Creative Sources.

I am a drummer since I was 15. I have several bands and gigs experience (Lacrimonia, ProjectJIM, Naga and now Crushing Tides). 
I guess this account is a place where I share mostly my experimentations with a cajón; I look for "undrumming" song I like and try to put some beats on it. 
It will be fun to find other musicians who wants to do strange things like this, and not use this kind of instruments for latin music only. Contact me if you are interested.

Fraction is Eric Raynaud, an electronic music composer & sound artist whose work is focused on sound immersion and multimedia interactions. 

He created the acclaimed immersive Audio Visual performance DROMOS granted by CNC (French National Center of Cinematography) before being commissioned by SAT of Montreal and Mutek festival, and recently ObE, an innovating hybrid immersive installation featured by The Creators Project.

Following these challenging pieces creation, he’s now working on enhancing sound immersion potentiality in contemporary art, architecture with a constant interest of science and social problematics.

He is recently awarded by Institut Français in Digital Arts field and is currently leading a several months research and creation at Sociéte des Arts Technologique of Montreal on sound immersion and new media interactions.

Flaub, composer, performer and visual artist mainly orientated to avant-garde, experimental and ambient music.

With the aim of compiling sonic substance and creating new devices from old industrial machines and recycled scrap, I spent several years living into an abandoned factory reconditioned as a sound laboratory. Besides those post-industrial quests I use to travel around the world documenting sonic and visual material. Combining all that stuff with the research of new synthesis methods, this music not only describes pictures, it will transport you to a sort of surreal and Sci-Fi scenarios, images that are quite difficult to define.
