Creeping through the realms of dark and weird, “Fuzzy Muffler” is the first collaborative EP release from Levitation Jones & Orchestrobe. The New England natives have individually lit the world of bass music on fire with their out of the box production styles and lack of regard for anything expected. This collection of original compositions will twist your neurons and rattle your cranium as unexpected rhythms descend into grinding melodies. Each track delivers a rare style not found anywhere else, highlighting both producer’s individual talents while drawing on their similar taste to create an abstract and creature-like collection of tunes that shouldn’t be missed. Also including a remix by none other than Yheti, “Fuzzy Muffler” draws from UK Dubstep & Dark Bass, serving as cryptic reminder to enjoy the darkness as much as the light.

As a reminder, the DDD collab project is where one of our favorite producers provides us with a sample pack and producers from around the globe are encouraged to download the pack and create something with it. It was an honor getting to be a part of the creative powerhouse that is The Glitch Mob. Having been friends for 15 years or so, and watching each of them progress over the years, it has been incredible to experience their triad of musical wizardry. My favorite part about this song is that we didn't end up with some hands-in-the-air banger, and instead it’s like this deep unicorn make-out track or something. Although I couldn't find the word in a dictionary, Justin informed us that “a paracosm is a detailed imaginary world created inside one's mind. This fantasy world may involve humans, animals, and things that exist in reality; or it may also contain entities that are entirely imaginary, alien, and otherworldly.” Perhaps the word is merely a paracosm in Justin's mind, but either way I hope there are unicorns there…

This latest 'Running' EP, is a colourful and inspiring curation from the Sydney raised talent. The lead track came together as Chelsea jammed out on her guitar and discovered a catchy hook, which is now the main lead in the track 'Running'... After layering her original vocals and keys on top the rest came together naturally, leaving us with our very own summer anthem, complimented by a beefy bassline to please all listeners. 
‘Monsters’ is the second tune featured here and is a more upbeat house melody made purely for the dancers. The bass infused, high energy aspects heard are topped off with some uniquely Nyxen sounds making this melodic number a must.

“Freefall”, the newest collaborative project from the noteworthy team of producer Au5 and vocalist Cristina Soto, is available now on Gravitas Music. Each song on the four track EP has a way of being concurrently uplifting and ferocious, stirring a range of emotional response. The duo’s obvious talents interplay effortlessly; Au5’s superb songwriting establishes the ideal foundation for Cristina’s luscious yet poignant lyrical splendor, culminating in a whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Like a prelude for a winter dreamland, the album begins with the title track’s blissful, orchestral introduction before morphing into a hard-hitting electro anthem. Next, “Shock Diamond” forges ahead with a midtempo-turned-DnB affair, sporting impeccable sound design and vocal hooks sure to haunt your brain for days to come. The EP wraps up with the vividly powerful “Emergence”, quickly followed by an Au5 remix of the tune which takes the assailing original and dials it back for a more subdued, cinematic interpretation.
