Orchids and Angell is an ongoing and ever-changing musical project that I developed so that I could rotate vocalist (Orchids) through at different times and continue down a single path of discovery with as little friction as possible in the mechanics of getting tracks to our listeners. I am a Composer/Producer/Engineer/Computer Scientist as well as an avid electronic music enthusiast and artist with over 25 years of experience in audio production and sound design. I have been working furiously to find time to foster and regenerate my passion for musical composition, and I think I may have found a path forward. I've had nearly a 16-year break from writing/playing with a lot of life in between (three beautiful girls) and I'm just so grateful that I've found my way back to enjoying my greatest passion once again. Just like you, I have gained consolation, wisdom, awe, sadness, memories, friends, lovers and every other human emotion through music. I occasionally dream music. 
I have a wide  appreciation of many genres from the ages  ...and get an urge to create music occasionally, inspired by these varieties.

Bedroom producer since 2021. 
I try to avoid boundaries and blend all styles I like (indie rock, acoustic, prog, metal, ambiant, trip-hop, jazz, and also classical and even a bit of trad). As long as it sounds...

What I write today is ambiant / downtempo / ethnic tracks with a taste of darkness, and I'm also preparing something more energetic later... but that's a different story.

Working with Ableton and VSTs, this is mostly MIDI, only the guitar is (sometimes) real.
