this track is pretty sick....has a dark vibe to it and feels very sticky and grimey....love those dirty synths...and then the progression to the drums...very cool

This project began as an exercise to write a song that would be eligible for curated genre playlisting. But for some reason I have a mental block when writing for specific genres, the resulting track is close to the antithesis of what I set out to accomplish. Starts out with a slow half step bass track, but... I quickly reimagine the track as a dance floor arrangement, followed by a melodic synth interlude, back into a dance arrangement and then schizophrenically into a reprise of the intro. lol I hope ya'll enjoy it.

Orchids and Angell is an ongoing and ever-changing musical project that I developed so that I could rotate vocalist (Orchids) through at different times and continue down a single path of discovery with as little friction as possible in the mechanics of getting tracks to our listeners. I am a Composer/Producer/Engineer/Computer Scientist as well as an avid electronic music enthusiast and artist with over 25 years of experience in audio production and sound design. I have been working furiously to find time to foster and regenerate my passion for musical composition, and I think I may have found a path forward. I've had nearly a 16-year break from writing/playing with a lot of life in between (three beautiful girls) and I'm just so grateful that I've found my way back to enjoying my greatest passion once again.
