Castelli is the musical moniker of Milan’s Stefano Castelli. His debut album, Anni Venti, combines all the synth history of his native Italy with soulful song writing. Produced by Luca Urbani, the record draws on inspiration from the analogue sounds of pop and wave whilst commenting on our contemporary condition. Rumbling basslines and clean beats are elevated by the glorious chorus lines of the opening “Festa.” The tracks on offer are short and bursting with energy, like the lilting “Cosmonauti” or the addictively upbeat duet of “Wave Goodbye.” A retrospective future dawns in the vocoder and rhythmic pulses of “Cani,” electro echoes of a man machine world. A range of styles are drawn on to create Castelli’s signature sound, his band background merging with synth warmth in “Paradiso Tropicale.” Italy’s famed soundtracks come to the fore in the measured drama of “Quando Guardi I Film.” What permeates the collection is a tender hopefulness, one that culminates in the enthusiasm and electronic exploration of “Nave.” A ten track journey from the heart of Milan.

And they are here again! We are delighted to welcome back the triumvirate of Sergio Mesa (IAMNOTAROBOT, Nev.Era), David Jornet (Strange2, Des Ames Libres, AMPbEND) and vocalist Maia J. In 2020 the partnership, better known as Hypnotique, released the stunning 12” ‘La Pénombre’ (Bordello A Parigi). In 2022, « Ce Monde » EP (Bordello A Parigi)came out with four tracks of smooth and elegantly made synth pop. Now in 2023, the band returns with a new EP called ‘At Night’(KosmoramaDisco), four tracks again of pure synth-pop with the smell of the Italo disco of the 80s at his best. The first track gives the name to the EP (the only one in English) and shows a disco funky touch very Purple Disco Machine-ish. The other three tracks, ’La Passion’, ‘Parano’ and ‘Tu ne me vois plus’ have the typical and yet classical signature of catchy and danceable Hypnotique’s synth cuts. Maia J’s incredible vocal range comes to the fore on this record, more powerful and direct in the performance and production.

Fake Yourself is an act of revolt as much as it is a celebration of life and an expression of human alienation. As usual in most of his work, soFa here reflects musical contrasts and contradictions as our existence so often does. It’s about sadness and joy, ups and downs and the fine line which connects them to tell a story. Fake Yourself comes as a spontaneous output of an artist escaping a scene of which the constant superficiality is unavoidable. Mistakes and unusual production with a strong DIY flavor are a conscious choice to keep the spontaneity vibing.A pure and direct self, exploring a realm of sound with sharp curiosity, emotion and humour. Where simplicity and complexity marry.


soFa leaves all boundaries behind and lets many of his influences confluence to find his very own sound. One can feel it is a very personal exploration which shines in its authenticity. Unconsciously or not, traces of IDM, Disco, New Beat, Dub and Krautrock cross heavenly paths and get augmented with ironic vocals and his hypnotic signature basslines. Everything seems to make sense, to fill the chapters of an adventurous short novel. A man shaping and finding his authentic sound and take you to this journey of his very own "style-no-style".

All tunes were improvised, recorded and arranged within 10 days in a wooden cabin, isolated in the middle of nature in Alentejo/Portugal in spring 2022. This album was not meant to happen. No overdubs

Oblako Maranta is a duo formed by Andrey Redkov and Antonio de Oto. "Tribal Trabant" was created with collaboration taking place between Saint Petersburg and Rome. It is characterized by the exceptional qualities and unique elements of their musical alter egos, Radial Gaze (Andrey) and A-Tweed (Antonio). Logical's third vinyl release showcases an intriguing blend of Eastern-inspired disco vibes, complemented by powerful acid-infused tribal-techno sounds. The album also includes two club remixes by label owner Mike Sacchetti and Lisbon based emerging artist, Anastasia Zems.
