WRØG is a work that explores the jagged dynamics of fragmented and obsessive rhythms that spread out wide and dilated soundscapes full of reflections and evocative melodies, with a structure that wants to describe the emotional passage between an unknown place and a family time, a balanced bridge between reason and feeling. 
 
OREINOI continues his research stirring different techniques from field recordings to digital synthesis and, in this work, he condenses his formal equilibrium with a skillful attention both to production and to technique.

Once again translate the dystopic landscape that surrounds us through a multi-handed work.

A VA, different tracks and artists reinterpreted by the gestures of Nadia D’Alessio. Imprinted forever on a limited number of zinc engravings. The artist acts as a filter between the visual and sound planes, collecting, filtering and reworking the sound objects instantly, injuring the surface with a three-dimensional sign, in a low relief obtained from the slow corrosion of the metal plates thanks to the use of compositions chemical.

Thru the artist’s vision radical sounds and corroded metals are taking a new and complicit meaning. A series of 20 limited copies, silk-screened and then individually corroded.

Embryos were created as a creative exercise by 37 producers, using samples provided by Hypnus' mastering engineer Mattias Fridell.

The tracks for the final release were picked by our collective of 260+ producers who voted them to 12 favorites that are now mastered and assembled.

This mix includes all contributions in the production challenge, while the curated 12 are available at Bandcamp.

Embryos (Extended Continuous Mix)

IV was made by the Aedi network in December 2020 as an experiment in creative minimalism.

Each track was made using only four audio channels with one sound source each. 24 contributions were submitted and anonymously voted down to 6 by the over 200 producers on the label.

The rules were:

" Your project should only have four channels with one sound source each.

- Return tracks do not count as a channel.
- Group buses do not count as a channel.
- Parallel processing is allowed.
- Drum & Instrument Racks are > not < allowed.
- Effects Racks are allowed.
- Outboard gear is permitted as long as you use only four sounds in total.

Example: kick, snare, hat, and tom from a 909 count as four sounds."

"It's a Mediterranean blue spilling from my heart, filling me up. Cool, deep, fathomless - between light and dark." 

This is how poet Gainor Ventresco describes "the perfect blue" in one of their poems. While it's unlikely that Ventresco had any ties with Italian DJ and producer Luigi Tozzi, these words perfectly capture the sensation that Tozzi's music evokes. Connected to the Mediterranean and deeply passionate about the ocean, his "Deep Blue" series transports listeners to a peaceful dreamlike state. The vastness of the universe and our subconscious worlds are perceptible within its depths.
Tozzi's refined take on techno in his live sets and productions has gained him increasing attention over recent years. Not to forget his impeccable storytelling skills as a DJ (highly recommend the Acquario Immersioni Sets Pt. 1 & 2), specifically showing up in longer DJ sets where the light and the dark go hand in hand, as they do so in life. 
Luigi shared with us a Live Podcast featuring some unreleased material - this mix is enveloping and absorbing simultaneously.  It is in such a way, that one could feel getting pulled into a magical vortex.

On our wishlist for our mix and Artist of the Moment series for some time now, we connected with this highly analytical, extremely dedicated, genuine and kind artist from Rome.

Project born in 2002 on an island abandoned to itself where the only possible escape was given by the imagination and curiosity to discover new means of expression that put beyond the sea that surrounded it. A place where nothingness was still something that had to be placed at the base to build a bridge that would lead out of the already established canons.
From experimental to popular music aiming at the fusion of genres, atmospheres and organic sounds, they become an amalgam which is the basis of a great laboratory of experiences where to find new sound images and constantly changing landscapes. the alternation of environmental stages, immersive panoramas and strident rhythms represent the ambiguities and contradictions of our time in a continuous feedback that also feeds the music and everything that concerns our daily life.
