We had a beautiful time at the Katzensprung-Weekender at the Strumpffabrik in Kerpen .. the new home of the Katzensprung-Festival.
Never played this late (sunday 5am) .. it was a new experience for me :D

Opening the Tunnel in Sisyphos on 30th July 2022 with all of my children present (see picture). My daughter SJ visiting with her boyfriend from Mexico where they live, asked me to play in Sisyphos whilst they were here for a short time this summer. Thanks to my friend Tobi Dei it worked out. At 12 noon on a Saturday there were not many people in the club but we all had a good time anyway. This is the set I played, some of my favourite tracks included as well as my own remixes of 'Spoon' by Can and 'Tomorrow Never Knows' at the end by the Beatles.

„So ähnlich wie Filmmusik die Stimmung
färbt, färbt meine Stimmung auch meinen Musikgeschmack. 
Facettenreich aber hin und wieder mit Ausschlägen“

Für sie ist der besondere Reiz an elektronischer Musik, dass ein produzierter Track nicht unbedingt für sich geschlossen steht, sondern vor allem gut eingebettet in einem Mix, seine wirkliche Qualität offenbart. 

Dabei kann alles und Nichts muss.
„Im wesentlichen ist Timing alles.“

„ Als ich nach 100 Stunden verkrampftes Üben, zum ersten Mal ganz kurz erlebt habe wie das Unmögliche möglich wird und tatsächlich zwei Tracks zur gleichen Zeit zusammenflossen, ohne dabei zu klingen wie eine aufgeplatzte Einkaufstüte im Regen, war ich schon sehr fasziniert von der akustischen Leichtigkeit die plötzlich da war und das versuche ich bis heute.“

„Ein guter Vergleich, ist das Gefühl das man hat, wenn man beim Tischtennis so galant schnippelt, dass es nicht nur cool aussieht sondern sogar noch einen Punkt gibt.“

Neben Musik und kreativen Schaffens, beschäftigt Mari Kabel gerade im Besonderen das Problem mit einer „teuflischen Immobiliengesellschaft“.

„Ich muss aus meiner geliebten Wohnung ausziehen, weil „ISI Home"  unser Haus aufgekauft hat und sanieren will. 
Also falls jemensch in Halle noch ein WG Plätzchen frei hat, oder von einer günstigen Wohnung weiß, wären mein Mitbewohner
und ich hoch erfreut.“

@kataya_official s a DJ living in Berlin. At the age of six, Kataya discovered her passion for music, she started to learn different instruments and play autodidactic. Due to her great talent, she then attended a music school and played in a classical orchestra. This had a great influence on her view of music as a very social art, including the role of producer and consumer at the same time. In the late 90s, her brother introduced her to Berlin genres such as techno, urban music and more. Inspired by rhythm and the soul of the matter, she developed new ideas and deep understanding of the subject.
2017 she had her first gig at one of the Berlin’s biggest music events, the Carnival of Cultures. Since the spark was ignited, she and her music have been a self-starter. Her social thinking, mixed with her sensitive sense for certain vibrations, manages to connect with the soul of the dance floor like a dream catcher. From deep baselines and wonderful melodies to epic vocals, groovy sub-bases and dirty tunes, she always knows what's hot.

Hui was ist denn da schon wieder los?! 
Auf einmal war er da und überraschte uns mit seinem vielseitigen Talent - der Kosi.. Und schon wieder übertrifft sein Sound alle Erwartungen. 
Er ist nicht nur als DJ unterwegs, sondert auch ein Teil von "Dunkle Vorahnung" und veranstaltet mit dem Kollektiv aus Hannover spitzenmäßige Partys!

Neben seinem Mix beglückt er uns mit folgenden poetischen Worten:

Schnee lag auf der grünen Flur.
Als ein Wagen blitzeschnelle
langsam um die Ecke fuhr.
