DJ SAN GABRIEL

Born, raised and living in Berlin, DJ San Gabriel aka Deejay Brother G started his DJ career in 1989, blessing clubs and events all over Europe ever since. San Gabriel represents an eclectic music philosophy which has matured over the last 29 years. His long-lasting career enables him to draw from a massive reservoir abundant with manifold styles. On his turntables, you’ll find the best from Afrobeats, HipHop, Reggae, Dancehall, Latin, RareGroove, Disco, Funk, House, Garage, Afrohouse, Electro, Grime, Bashment, Dubstep, Drum & Bass. Although San Gabriel’s concept meets today’s crossover attitude of Berlin’s clubs it is firmly rooted in his own experiences and performances. But most of all, DJ San Gabriel is a “crowd-friendly” DJ, who creates an atmosphere for the people out there. His sound follows the vibe of the crowd and creates the flow. Great stories for a grand night out! His outstanding individual style gained San Gabriel recognition and success. He’s at home in the clubs of Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Wuppertal, Würzburg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Munich, Graz, Bern, Zurich, Prague, Budapest, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Sicily, London, Paris, Barcelona, Istanbul, Haiti, New York, Buenos, Aires, Casablanca, Essouira, Marrakech, Tanger, San Diego, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Miami, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Capetown, Accra, Abuja, Lagos and Dakar. He also played at events such as Berlin Love Parade, Zurich Street Parade , Oasis Festival Marrakech, Feel Festival, Distortion Festival Copenhagen, Teranga Jam Dakar, Afropolitan Festival Lago, Jamrock Abuja, Gurten Festival Bern, Spring Festival Graz, and Miami Art Basel & Winter Music Conference. Among the highlights of his DJ career are gigs at Berlin Film Festival (“Berlinale”), German Film Award (“Deutscher Filmpreis”), German Echo Award and the Film Festival in Cannes. Apart from his activities as DJ and producer, San Gabriel must also be considered an experienced event and music manager. He did the booking and was in charge of all creative music affairs (website, CD compilations and mix tapes) for “101 Lounge” (each thursday at Kudamm 101 Hotel), the Nightcrawlers event at Bristol Hotel/Frankfurt, the “Herz aus Gold” event series (each wednesday and saturday) and the “liveDEMO” events (international booking. During one of the liveDEMO events, he introduced the rather different personalities of Walera Goodman (experimental HipHop and Electro) and Ono (former front man of Walkin’ Large / HipHop) to one another, and joined their exciting new collabo Data mc as co-producer and DJ in june 2004. 

Since 2007 he runs the monthly Party called Hiphop Don't Stop in Berlin, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Wuppertal, Düsseldorf, Munich, Cologne, Zurich, Miami & Tel-Aviv. www.hiphopdontstop.net

Since January 2011 he host the weekly Hiphop Don't Stop Radio Show on 93,6 JAM FM RADIO in Germany.

Since October 2013 djing,musical director (booking and programming) for DEAN Club Berlin (AMANO HOTEL GROUP).
