In the Corona crisis I experience the world like a kind of monastery. On the one hand connected with much renunciation and privations, with restrictions and abstinence. On the other hand, however, offering one the chance to learn to be amazed again in the silence and seclusion that results from the worldwide regulations. To have time to really let oneself be touched by something that has so far been hastily pressed into blinker-categories. To be surprised by revelations that must have remained hidden in the everyday functioning.    
To be able to say "Wow!" again in every cell of one' s body, however, also requires sometimes to free oneself completely from the now omnipresent digital availability. Unfortunately, the crisis leads partly there even more into digital obsessions. But even there I hope that at some point the weariness after the increasing dullness in the X-th Netflix series, among others, will set in and the desire for real encounters will come forward.

Inspired by a memory of harvesting sedge for thatched roofs. Swinging the scythe is fun, listening to the warbler birds and watching for small lizards and other wildlife. It becomes hard work and then the sharp edges of the long dry grassy leaves cut your fingers to ribbons. It is a rewarding and 'real' feeling to carry the bundles away from the fen bank by small boat.

Dreams

This is the only song I was able to finish since a long time 😢.
It's not my best song but I had to move on and stop the endless loop of "nothingness". I was stuck, I decided to make a short song in a limited time and publish it even if it is not perfect. I hope it's not too horrible. It's my baby so I love my song anyway 😉
I used virtual instruments as usual. Each part is improvised on my piano keyboard. I made some adjustments (a lot for the drums 😅). I'm the worst pianist in the universe 😵 but this time I think it was not that bad.

This song is about love and sorrow. When you remember the lost one, your true love. You can't stop your tears, even when your whole family, your friends try to comfort you. You hear their voices but nothing reach your broken heart. You just need to cry.

Even if it's not a happy song, I wish you the best. And I hope all of you are safe. ❤️❤️❤️
