Tremulant wandering throughout deep space. Scans pulse beating lush sounds from local pulsar. Mega waves of radio interference. Scanning. Something making some serious groove here. We have detected... PLANEMO! Every episode we hop aboard our spaceship and search the galaxy to discover fresh and exciting sounds for the people of earth...

This past November the stars collided to bring together Pelehon and GriffinGrrl on the decks. The atmosphere created was truly magical as these two ladies were connected by their love for deep and luscious sounds, but had not yet shared a dance floor. This set the stage for a beautiful night of musical storytelling. The energy in the room felt too infectious not to share, and since we weren’t recording, we decided to record and release our sets together for Planemo.

For the first hour tune in to the rhythms of GriffinGrrl. GriffinGrrl has been a fiery catalyst for creative collaborations since the 90s LA rave scene. With talents spanning from DJ, radio host, club co-founder, to current residencies held with Uniting Souls and LOST, GriffinGrrls magnetic energy continues to fuel countless amazing experiences. 

The second hour is curated by Pelehon, a Tremulant resident who began weaving stories through sound 3 years ago. Pelehon enjoys layering melodies and rhythms to provide a soundtrack to get lost in… believing that through music we can express and hear what speaks beyonds words.

This is a DJ mix from my set at love burn 2020 which was my first love burn ever and I was camping with the Foamy Homies (aka Bronners Foam Camp). I totally forgot that I recorded this mix and found it on a USB disk that I thought I lost.
This is an incredibly special mix since the mix is recorded with all the Foamy Homie MC‘s voiceovers and they￼ direct the foam and dance experience and what makes this mix so incredibly magical is since it infuses the energy of everybody there. In loving memory of Denise Lozano, who brought me to this burn an to the FoamyHomies family, where I am so blessed to be a part of… not just a camp, rather a home of loving, groovy souls.

Art and music collide, healing the audience of their traumas using movement, chanting, mantras, crystal vibrations, live drummers, and tribal body art. Shango’s ancient futuristic artform creates a constant flow of physical and ethereal release within the audience, purposefully increasing the power and influence of the healing energy directed toward the crowd each event, creating a massive healing movement in Philadelphia and beyond.  

Shango is the founder of The Organic Mindz Tribe(The OM Tribe) consisting of spiritual healers, energy workers, Dj’s, and volunteers, all in sympathetic resonance, journeying towards one aligned purpose: healing themselves in order to heal the world. Together, The OM Tribe host Spirit Quest, a monthly Ecstatic Dance and Sober Healing Party that combines crystal meditation, sound healing, live Dj’s, guided indigenous movement, and Yoga, introducing the participants to complete mind, body, and spirit alignment.
