Snhypa Rifle was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in one of the most violent areas of Kingston, called Rockfort City.  He later migrated to the United States of America at age 11, where he became exposed to more types of music and cultures  Expanding his creativity and writing skills enabling him to reach a broader market with universal songs, not just Dancehall music.  At the age of thirteen he adopted the name Syhypa Rifle, pronounced sniper.  His style, sound, and creativity comes from a wide variety of genres blended together to form a tantalizing mixture of  music influenced by Pop, Reggae, Hip Hop, R&B, and Dancehall. Snhypa Rifle is currently being managed by T.R.E music management group.  He is currently working on some upcoming singles and and full length album.
