Lies Between the Lines

We come close, then we spin away,
Like the tide that won’t obey.
You pull me in with just one touch,
Then turn to stone, it’s all too much.

Are we fire, are we rain?
Are we passion, are we pain?
Every step is back and forth,
Like a force we can't ignore
We’re magnetic, love kinetic,
Drawn together, then rejected.

Hearts colliding, then dividing,
Still we can’t escape the fighting.
Push me out, then pull me back,
I want you close, but we react.

Like north and south, we twist and spin,
A love we lose, a love we win.
Your words burn, but they heal the same,
A whispered curse, a sacred name.

We chase the high, but fear the fall,
Can’t stay away, can’t stay at all.
If I let go, would you let me be?
Or would the force bring you back to me?

We're opposites, yet just the same,
A love that bends but won’t be tamed.
We dance this dance, we spin, we fade,
But something stronger makes us stay.

A love repelling, love so true,

Magnetic

Smoke fills the skies, the ground is breaking,
The world we knew is quietly forsaking,
Shadows stretch from corners unseen,
Whispers weave through the cracks between.

Eyes are waking, hearts are torn,
Storms are rising with each new morn,
Not just flesh and blood we fight —
There’s more beyond this broken sight.

Great suffering falls like rain,
A silent war inside the pain,
Visible hands, invisible chains,
Pulling the strings of a world in flames.
Our freedom stands on the line,
In the clash of the dark and the divine,
Hold your ground, this is the hour —
Before they seize the final power.

Lies in the wires, truths in the stone,
They pave the roads to a darker throne,
Order through chaos, a secret call,
Building towers just to watch them fall.

Not by a nagging ramble.

The Battleground

„Kein Himmel“ handelt vom Ende aller Gewissheiten. Kein Versprechen auf ein Danach, kein ewiges Leben – nur die Momente, die wir teilen. Ein Song über Klarheit, Zweifel und die Erkenntnis, dass das Jetzt das Einzige ist, was wirklich zählt.

“Kein Himmel” is about the end of all certainties. No promise of an afterlife, no eternal life – just the moments we share. A song about clarity, doubt, and the realization that the present is all that truly matters.


Kein Himmel

Have had a writing holiday, with no musical acoutrements whatsoever. Having posted a poem set to music yesterday, I decided that today I would write a song. Maybe not my best but had found a new "method" for writing lyrics; and used it to produce this song. A quiet and melodic song this time, hope you like it.
