We’re buzzing to welcome DJ, label manager and club impresario Madam X next up on our Tapes series #39! With the soundsystem pressure of dubstep, the propulsion of techno and a fearless attitude, Madam X’s accomplishments admittedly feel like only the tip of the iceberg. With Radio 1 & NTS residencies under her belt, she continues to build on past successes, clearly set on leaving her mark on UK dance music in a big way.

She launched her own label KAIZEN, in the summer of 2014, which was credited by Mixmag as one of the “Top labels of 2016,”. Her work with KAIZEN as a clubnight and imprint has armed her with the hands-on experience of releasing records independently whilst also keeping her ear firmly to the ground. Happy listening!
