A mere nine months after their last release on the A State Of Trance imprint, Russian duo Eximinds turns to the same spot for their next impressive release. For ‘Handprint’, they teamed up with fellow-countryman Vigel, delivering a record that storms through any club. ‘Atlas’, the second single on the EP, has been done in collaboration with Yan Space, yet another talent from Russia. It demonstrates a more melodic approach, but is by no means less energetic or powerful than ‘Handprint’. No one other than Armin van Buuren himself handpicked both records to include on his highly anticipated A State Of Trance 2015 compilation. And, to be frank, both records absolutely deserve it!

Sticking firmly to the #138 mould, '7 Eleven' is a real belter thanks to the slamming groove and plucky melody. We just love that breakdown with those killer stabs and bags of euphoric energy. Huge!

Andy Tau delivers an essential remix on the flip in the only way he knows best. It's a typical Tau affair that compliments the original perfectly.

Hot off the trail of their previous release, "Fiction," Jerome Isma-Ae and Alastor are back, this time with the latest incarnation of their newfound sound: 'Reflection'. Reminiscent of quintessential '1980s soundtracks, we are starting to see a common theme here. "Reflection" is definitive of nostalgia, its running bassline a borrow from the analogue synth engines of the voltage-control era, its running lead arp clearly retro-futuro. These two are onto something new, fresh and exciting. With each release, they are actually inviting us to be a part of something new. Perhaps a movement? Mysterious, spell-binding, dark energy.
