Canal Machine : Le Funk Électro-Métal de Montréal

Bienvenue dans l'univers déjanté de Canal Machine, le duo de choc qui fait vibrer le web en direct de Montréal ! Composé de Philippe, le maître bassiste et compositeur, et de Vincent, le gourou de la guitare, d'Ableton Live et des synthés, Canal Machine vous embarque dans un voyage musical sans pareil.

Inspirés par le funk, l'électro et le métal, nos deux compères de la quarantaine (mais toujours jeunes dans l'âme) balancent des morceaux qui déchirent, tout en diffusant leurs performances depuis le légendaire pont Jacques Cartier. Leur crédo ? Ne jamais se prendre trop au sérieux, mais toujours offrir une musique de haute qualité.

Chaque live sur Twitch est une fête, une explosion de sons et de bonnes vibes, où l'on ne sait jamais ce qui va se passer – et c'est ça qui est bon ! Et devinez quoi ? Bientôt, des invités surprise rejoindront le groupe pour encore plus de fun et de folie musicale.

A life long lover of nature and constantly intrigued by the natural world and the invisible world of sounds that surround us. This has taken me on a journey of trying to combine my love of exploring and documenting nature with my passion for recording and understanding sound. The idea has since manifested into a number of interesting projects and is in a constant state of evolution. I like the idea of using art as a way to understand the world of science, using imagination to explore scientific ideas beyond the limits of traditional scientific methodology.

I have built up the gear to record and capture sounds for use in films, interviews and music projects or you can check out the library of sounds. I have worked on a number of film projects in a number of different roles and enjoy working behind the camera, which has helped how I work with sound. I like being able to provide a different point of view and unique service for people who like the idea of thinking outside the box, because I live outside the box.

  It’s with this philosophy that Montrealer Fake_Electronics approaches his music. Born out of a love for analog, his productions channel a digital enigma; abstract rhythms, strange sounds, tripped-out voices and emotions of uncertainty — a musical catechism. Focusing on modular synthesis as his main source of sound, Fake_Electronics takes inspiration from the energy and vibrations of the city, ever moving in search of true consciousness.
