Loom Of Maya

For tonight's Shivaratri (the primary annual festival of the Hindu God Shiva on the February new moon) I recorded layer upon layer of His main mantra live with a twin loop-pedal. None of this has been later overdubbed or effected (it was all in the pedal on the fly), so its quite raw in places, as befitting its ritual nature.

Dance Of The New Flesh (from 'Solve et Coagula' film)

The diverse sounds of Orryelle with various collaborators. 
 With the primary instruments of violin and voice (inc. harmonic overtones & undertones), Orryelle has experimented over the years alone and with many different musicians, using also unusual electronica, percussion and other manual instruments to explore a range of sounds from neo-classical through dark ambient, carnivalesque, heavy, melodic, post-industrial, indefinable, etc. 
 Ritual aspects are usually prevalent, some music being created as accompaniment to various productions of his Metamorphic Ritual Theatre Company (see Vimeo and youtube channels).
