Gareth Cole is the ambitious Brit who has been carving a name for himself as a purveyor of fine house and techno both as a producer and DJ. 

Here he signs up to Steve Bug’s Sublease Music for three slick and impactful slices of deep, techy house. First up is Signal, a low-slung groover with hypnoic keys, and a thick, rounded bottom end driving the track forward. 

On Courage, the energy is amped somewhat, with plenty of space thanks to the dubby, minimal production. 

Gareth notes “I was very inspired by music and DJ sets from Guy J - there is this sort of hypnotic groove which locks you into the vibe and music. I designed a really nice lead stab on Sylenth which is my go-to synth and it repeats during the majority of the tune and then other elements play around it to keep it interesting”. 

The final track is On The Edge, delving deep into Cole’s roots in techno - slowly building on the groove with extra elements to create a hypnotic, techy atmosphere sure to set dancefloors alight this summer.

In February 2018, ARTBAT are bringing their first full EP release to Diynamic Music. The three-tracker 'Planeta' starts off with the title track 'Planeta', a rapid-fire techno odyssey that might as well be taken from a relentless pursuit in a futuristic action movie.

This is followed by the gloomy bassline of 'Prometheus'. Heavy on percussive elements, the track is divided in half by a cascading synth-break only to return with more layers of percussions, strings and the hypnotic bassline.

Closing off the EP is 'Sand In Your Shoes' featuring London based artist Dino Lenny, who has previously worked with Madonna or Wu-Tang Clan and produced remixes for Underworld, Missy Elliot or Timbaland. The collab track is a dreamy Deep-House tune and a perfectly emotive way to finish the record.

ORYX is a versatile DJ and producer known for delivering dynamic, genre-spanning performances and productions. With over a decade of experience, he has built a reputation for exploring the boundaries of electronic music, blending Techno, Drum and Bass, House, and Dubstep with influences from Trap, Hip-Hop, Rock, and experimental styles.

Since launching his career with the self-released single Moda in 2019, ORYX has steadily evolved, releasing standout tracks such as Midnight, Digital, X, and Gradients. In 2022, his debut album Model One showcased a bold, multi-genre approach, followed by the atmospheric and dark Spirits in 2023. This year, his sound has grown even more distinct with Drum and Bass releases like Exertion, Nightfall, and Timpani. Heading into 2025, ORYX is expanding his artistry further with projects spanning multiple genres, continuing to push creative boundaries.

ORYX’s performances are marked by dynamic mixing and striking visuals. He has played at iconic venues such as Fabric, Ministry of Sound, Dubai's Hyatt Regency Hotel, and in Athens. He has also performed alongside electronic music legend deadmau5 at Motion Bristol.

Balancing creativity and technical skill, ORYX continues to connect with diverse audiences while pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
