@nostalgie-eternelle might sound like a new name on our shameless label but in fact they are 2/3 of Sauerstofff and with Face á l'incertitude EP they keep us in balance between the 1987’s atmosphere of Leer and those of the city of Hamburg in 2019 where Inox Kapell and Dieter Mauson have recorded part of the record.
A style lesson that we welcome with great pleasure by two artists with 35 years of friendship and militancy in the post-punk scene in Europe.

An EP that ranges between the dementia no wave of “Human Biodiversity”, the synthetic minimalism of “Die ganze Wut”, the atmospheric romance of “Under Water Dream”; between the dub sonorities of “Raumseelen” and the new wavish of “Wo es weiter geht” and “Thank You!”

The release will be available in the usual 300 limited vinyl units from July 5.

PHXS19 ‘Portals’ EP is coming by the Brooklyn based Zeta Sect, featuring 70 minutes of blistering vintage drum machines contrasted against a haze of synthesis. Here Zeta Sect invites the listener to experience a fresh perspective with the insurgency of beautifully composed synth-wave, electronic body music and  synth pop treads into new and unique territory for your body and soul. The deadpan delivery of spoken word passages in conjunction with the intricate use of delay blends the world of synth inspired genres with a distinct tinge of 1980’s industrial flavour.

Exhausted Modern's debut full-length titled The Year of the Rat is a proof of the thought-provocation that author's name generates. Released on his own Endless Illusion imprint, the album doesn't have all the answers, it simply offers Exhausted Modern's perception of the modern times and also the energy to do something with them. The title, borrowed from the Chinese zodiac calendar, doesn't slip to mere esoteric prognosis, it fittingly and provocatively comments on broken mechanics of society, capitalistic hierarchisation and emotional frustration of its victims. Despite the dystopian character of Exhausted Modern's sound, which ranges from fast melancholia through suspicious calmness to slowly bubbling rage, it doesn't feel like the end of the world. It's critical artistic statement of a person who despite seeing all the darkness, also sees the way out of it.

"Gil.Barte inaugure le catalogue du label de Meth.O.Tapes avec un LP aussi programmatique qu'habité. Basculant l'exercice du long format du côté de la recherche expérimentale bien plus que de la narration, l'objet nommé « R.S.F » est une collection d'images sonores intrigantes. Les tracks ne  commencent ni ne finissent vraiment, pièces d'un puzzle éclaté sans résolution apparente, se déroulant comme autant de pages d'un bestiaire fantastique oublié. Car il est question de variations formelles, de palette stylistique vaste, où l'exploration est à la fois impulsion et finalité jamais atteinte, en accord avec la volonté du collectif Meth.O.Tapes. Chaque créature sonore résonne de bribes imaginaires tantôt majestueuses, tantôt terribles, tantôt naïves, parfois mystiques, parfois naturalistes, plus oniriques qu'exotiques, toujours évocatrices. Un curieux objet musical, un objet poétique comme voulu par le collectif, car objet il y a, recueilli sous format cassette et coffret, forme-sens d'une boîte de Pandore aux mille et un mystères."

"Meth.O.Tapes' catalogue opens up on a programmatic framework in the form of Gil.Barte's first LP. Developped as an experimental exploration rather than a narrative, this object called « R.S.F » is a recollection of intriguing sonic pictures. Tracks neither really start nor they finish, pieces of an apparently unreasolvable puzzle like pages of a fantastic bestiary long forgotten. It's also about form variations, a wide stylictic range, where exploration means impulsion as well as perspective, in accordance with the Meth.O.Tapes collective's motto.
