STARDRIP2X is one man band from Waterbury , CT. composed D. SPINARDI (star light formations ) (originally called IDRANIPS NOD )all guitars  six and twelve strings , Rhythm and leads ,bass guitar and drum programming ,key boards formed in early 2000  the idea of writing a complex  style of music featuring off set timings  , acoustic and metal blending with hints of trance ,ambient  ,textured  playing with heavy recording sessions  constantly re working and re writing  straight  through 2009 
with experimenting and working with other musicians stardrip2x  remained as a solo act  with out the help of no other musicians . 

the recordings  are spontaneous and on the spot recordings  recording based off of feeling  frustrated many long hours of overdubs  mixing  and adding and removing parts lost  for trying to find an genre for this style of music  and saw nothing was matching   what  was being played  stardrip2x decided simply calling space metal  in which the genre still does not fit it works for now .earlier years all stardrip2x recordings was under the idranips nod  name and was exclusively acoustic works with many many long albums and sessions to be posted later on as the span of technical progressive writing was influencing my acoustic ambient style the name changed to fit it .too many conflicting influences  came over of my style and with no true direction all recordings went as is .
  many demos recorded between 2000 -2012  only the works from 2009 through now will be posted 
  stardrip2x  is under its own label (d.i.y.s) tripple  rose music  /celestial star productions and cds  to those who want must email  to obtain a copy  

stardrip2x  the style an experimental project band mixing technical progressive playing and ambient trance ,robotic type patterns   fused with acoustic melodic playing  completely instrumental . i hope you enjoy any critics out there nice to meet you I'm spontaneous not a perfectionist  most of stuff are one takers 2nd takes for me are never the same so all be happy and enjoy

Jen P grew up in a large suburb of Vancouver, listening her dad’s strange records, playing goofy melodies on her bontempi, trying to learn guitar but finding reel to reel loops much more appealing. As a result, she has always been obsessed with the stranger end of electronic music. In 1997 she started online radio stations geekmusic and geekmusic 2, playing IDM of the golden era. She also began producing her own music at this time as The Square Root of Evil, and now has numerous releases under her belt, including two EPs, “Chirping Data” and “Killerbytes”. As well, she has played countless live shows around the world, including festivals such as Soundwave, Mutek, and Communikey, and alongside such artists as Plaid, Venetian Snares, Books on Tape, FFF, Cursor Miner, and Captain Ahab. Her sound is playful, banging and filled with acid.
