For a long time we have been friends doing all kinds of other things than making music together. We spent many years travelling through the scandinavian woods on hiking trips, living of mushrooms and other fruits of the forrest. One day when we were searching for the famous black-trumpet-hat mushroom we discovered a world of sound just above ground and realized that the snails of the area created vibrations in the air that resonated deeply with us, so we sampled as much as we could, and went to the studio to pass this connection to the world of the invertebrates on to you. Third Scan is born, a mixture between Scano and Third Wife - a project that moves slow in order to move fast.

Sangoma, an alchemist blending together hypnotic sounds and primal tribal beats. Our music is a journey towards a long lost psychedelic vision, a shared, transcendent experience of dancing around a fire until dawn, fueled by altered states of consciousness. It's an invitation to connect with the primal instinct of human beings and rediscover a sense of belonging through rhythm and sound.

I like to use music as a form of therapy; it can heal my soul 💫
