„Das ist brotlose Kunst in einer schwarzweißen Welt“, heißt es im Opener „Monolith“, der die Prämisse von „Horus“ vorgibt: Träume leben, auch wenn man nicht weiß, was morgen passieren wird. Sickless benennt die Umstände und seine Hörer identifizieren sich damit. Denn egal ob Lehrling, Student oder eben deutscher Rapper, Sickless‘ Geschichte ist für jeden nachvollziehbar und gerade deshalb so besonders. „Horus“ ist nach sechs vorangegangenen Releases nicht einfach nur ein weiteres siebtes, sondern das große Debüt-Album, auf das er seit zwei Jahren intensiv hinarbeitet. Man O To from the elusive producer NU is finally set to be released as a single on Crosstown Rebels. Since its inclusion on Acid Pauli’s Get Lost Compilation in 2012 the track has clocked up tens of millions of Youtube hits and now heralds in a much coveted artist album due later this year. Remix treatment comes from Parisian producer ​Pépé Bradock and live artist Be Svendsen.

A nomad of modern times, ​NU​ has travelled the continents with his diverse music to unearth his imitable style. Repres​ented heavily in ​Man O To, where instruments amalgamate with electronic production to become solid rhythms. An extra spark come from its lyrics, outtakes from an old Persian poem from the well known poet Rumi, who speaks of true happiness in love here performed by Ghazal Shakeri from an original recording made by renowned French composer Armand Amar.

Julien Auger aka ​Pépé Bradock​ is a widely respected producer best known for his anthemic releases on French label Kif Recordings which are still sampled heavily to this day. As a DJ, he has spun in almost every major club in the world and is known for his versatile, and mesmerising style. Bradock conjures a trippy remix and dub version of ​Man O To and fitting ode to the original.

Be Svendsen​ aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn. ​“‘Man O To’ is a track that has touched th​ e hearts of many, including my own,’ Svendsen explained.​ ‘Being asked to add a new chapter to its story is both an honor and my greatest challenge to date.”

“Caught between two worlds …” is not the most convenient place for most musicians. That, however, is where Oscar OZZ has felt most comfortable for years. Whether Deep House, Tech House, Indie Dance or Minimal: the most important thing is that it grooves, is catchy and rocks the dance floor! His gigs at the hottest clubs in the country as well as his gigs abroad in Mexico, Bolivia, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Norway etc. have also been highly praised in retrospect, just like his regular festival appearances at e.g. SonneMondSterne, Sputnik Springbreak or Summerspirit.

Every year many tracks appear, mostly on vinyl, and sweeten up – not only in this country – music lovers’ lives. Oscar’s discography is very comprehensive and includes famous productions on many different labels such as Katermukke, Material Series, Confused, Perc Trax, Superfancy, BlackFoxMusic. Oscar OZZ is also known and notorious for his edits, which are distributed to a large fan base (> 5000 subscriber) free of charge on a monthly basis through his newsletter. Songs from many artists have thus had the pleasure to be enhanced for the DJ world.

Since 2003 Oscar OZZ is running different imprints like Karatemusik, KarateKlub, Lørdag, Kol Mojito, Extrasmart, Tape Select or OZZ Records. He’s also working together with different artists like Ron Flatter, Patrick Brosin, etc. to bring up their labels like Pour La Vie or .defaultbox  to the top.  Most of the tracks were released on vinyl and digital. The complete administrative stuff, like handling with pressing plants and digital distribution and accounting is managed successfully through Oscar OZZ.
