سئمتُ اغترابي وطول السفر .. ولمتُ على الهجر من قد صبَر
وطال اشتياقي إلى من أحبُّ .. ملاذي من كلِّ هذا الضجَر

وطيفُ الحبيبةِ إمّا بدا لي .. هو الشّمس في غربتي والقمر
أخفّ إليهِ لأغرق ذاتي .. بدُنيا يطيبُ إليها النّظر

إذا مرّ في خاطري رسمُها .. أرى كلّ ما أشتهي قد حضَر
وترقصُ حولي صبايا الجِنان .. على نغمِ من رنين الوتر
فمن ذات لفظٍ رخيمٍ شهيّ .. ومن ذاتِ لحظِ جميلِ الحوَر
