Raised in Williamsburg Brooklyn and Manhattan’s Washington Heights. Oscar P is as groundbreaking as they come. For the past 25 years he’s been fusing afro-latino and deep house influences from NYC, Chicago, and Detroit to create a unique sound that defines his style today. Over the last 25 years his discography has grown over a variety of labels including Strictly Rhythm, Tool Room, Yoruba, Kolour Recordings, Open Bar Music, MoBlack, Naughty Boy, and Balance Music. As a producer, he’s done remixes for Mark Farina, KiNK, Soul Minority, Jamiroquai, Adele, Omar, Todd Terry & Physics.

A world traveler, he’s logged in set times at some of the world’s leading venues like The Works, Detroit, Output, Brooklyn, Cielo, NY, King King, LA, Norad & Beta, Denver, Supperclub, NL, and La Santanera, Mexico.

With more than 33 releases cracking the top ten in the last three years, a who's who of music industry pioneers support his productions. In 2012 Oscar was named the #8 best selling house music artist of the year on Traxsource. In 2014 he sat on the Best Selling Deep Afro House Artists list at #23 alongside Black Coffee, Osunlade, and Atjazz. 2016 he landed at #13 alongside Hyenah, Manoo, Jose Marquez and Boddhi Satva. 

Oscar P operates two of the most respected underground house labels, Kolour Recordings and Open Bar Music. He also co-produces West Coast Weekender. A boutique music conference and festival that attracts people from all over the world to his home base in San Diego, California.

We welcome UK artist Ronnie Spiteri to Tronic with two huge originals and a remix from Dosem. Ronnie joins us on the crest of a wave with releases on We Are The Brave, Truesoul, and Knee Deep in Sound to name a few. His rolling tech style has also found favoured on the clubbing circuit with standout performances for Do Not Sleep, elrow and Sankeys.

Opening with 'Rough Rider' rubbery bass and tough kicks are soon joined by crisp hats and evolving side-chained pads. Add in some Jamaican Dub adlibs and you have all the ingredients for a Spiteri stadium rocker! 'Can You Feel It' is a deep vibe but no less rolling. Growing in intensity stabs ricochet around the space creating a uniquely energetic feel. Dramatic throughout, this is heads down late-night stomping at its finest. On the remix, Dosem opts for a slower, more hypnotic direction seeking out the original ideas as only he can.

With his nothing short of outstanding Force EP on Compost Records, prodigious Laolu pushes his boundaries even further and provides us with a refreshing and yet poignant travel through his vision of afro inspired house music. In addition to this musical marvel comes a long-awaited vinyl exclusive Laolu Remix of Sophie Hungers There Is Still Pain Left, one that will be remembered. It received heavy support already by the likes of Solomun, Marcus Worgull, Trikk and Eagles & Butterflies!

Released on Innervisions at the end of 2015, Laolu's remix of Dele Sosimi's 'Too Much Information' has been a number one hit and Dixon and Ame's favourite track of the year. Laolu was born out of the love of a Nigerian father and a Swiss mother who, most appropriately, met in a record store in Berlin. He spent his first years in Nigeria where his parents owned "The Gallery", a club dedicated to Jazz and Soul. And so his musical education began. After relocating to France, he attended a music school in order to learn saxophone and music theory, but upon discovering Detroit techno pioneers Derrick May and Carl Craig at the age of 18, he sold his saxophone to buy his first drum machine.

He then moved to Geneva where he started DJing and met Kadebostan, who quickly became a musical co-conspirator in the studio and as a DJ partner. In 2010, Laolu released his first EP "O Fantasma" on the young Berlin based label Clap Your Hands. A deep tune for special club moments. During the following years, his collaborations and solo work have led him to produce music for labels including Innervisions, Defected, Compost Records, Get Physical, Weapons, Freude Am Tanzen, Clap Your Hands, Mental Groove, Jalapeno Records and Soundway Records. He kicked off 2014 writing and producing Sene Kela for Mr Raoul Ks new album, which gathered love and support from Dixon, Mano Le Tough and more.

As a DJ, he has built a solid reputation in his hometown of Geneva, but also played across Europe in Berlin, Paris , Krakow and Tbilisi. Ruff techno, heart warming house, his style both sophisticated and raw at once allows him to swing moods and match the feverish atmosphere of any club.
