I am not a pessimist. People would probably say I have a sunny disposition. And yet it would be foolish to deny the dire and unprecedented times in which we now live.
As our world and human civilization teeters on the brink, with politicians and corporate plutocrats thwarting any meaningful corrective actions that so many of us support, what are we to do?
With global warming, rising seas, exponentially increasing numbers of climate refugees, destabilized governments, mass extinctions, environmental destruction, and an exploding human population, we are nearing a grim apotheosis.
It may not come in our lifetimes, but we are inexorably sliding into an abyss of our own making.

Recorded this track in Logic Pro (finally moving up from my Zoom R8 recorder), using hardware tube preamps, compressors, etc.
Guitars used: Gretsch 5622T, 1978 Guild S-60, and a Fender (Squier) Jaguar SS bass.

we’re toxic now in our toxic cloud.
