Back To The Roots (Original Mix)

The mighty Spektre have teamed up with Subfractal, which is a logical progression since they are both fashioning the same brand of dark, brooding techno.

The aptply titled "Ram Raid" is characterized by it's carefully spaced arrangement, hitting hard where appropriate, yet leaving space for the track to breathe. Apocalyptic synths tear through the audio horizon as the track spirals into a dark hole of intense programming.

Sasha Carassi takes care of the remix and shifts into a head-on collision, going for a more direct approach and it pretty much sounds like a sonar in hell. The layers of loops keep the intensity level high and you've got a package that packs a might punch.

Oscar Mulero’s own Warm Up label goes 50 releases old and to celebrate, there is an special release planned: A double remixes vinyl pack as well as an extended digital release including the four previously only vinyl available Pattern Series.

The remix pack will have revisions of the original Oscar’s works by the likes of: Silent Servant, Cassegrain, Kanding Ray, Donatto Dozzy, Shlømo and Chevel. Each one getting the essence of the originals but adding their very personal touch to the pack. As a result all kinds of techno flavors are represented, from the harsh and rude to the liquid and floaty.

If you weren’t lucky enough to get the translucent limited vinyl pattern series, now you have the chance of having them in your digital crate via the online version of the release.

El paquete de remezclas contará con trabajos de Oscar revisados por algunos de los productores más importantes del panorama actual como son: Silent Servant, Cassegrain, Kanding Ray, Donatto Dozzy, Shlømo o Chevel. 2021 opens with the 50th release for Animal Farm Records in the form of Spanish born newcomer, Blanka. A serious talent, Blanka's tracks show a great depth to her production. Tough yet deep sound designer is a clear mark of this young producer's talent. Backed with a superbly crafted remix by rising star Yant, the Manchester born producer weaves his own unique take of the EP's title track.

Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late 90’s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene.

He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV.

In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests.
