Pow! Republic Artists Records are back and this time present the emerging label’s fiercest work to date. The release’s original material comes from Greek techno powerhouse Nikola Gala, a man whose production record is tried and true, dating back as it does to 2003. We’ve been a huge fan of Gala’s work for a while now so it was only a matter of time before we would ask him to debut on our label. Because we at RA are a family, the only sensible thing to do was have three of our residents & previous release artists remix this pair of mind-melting techno stompers, each in their own style.

Mind Meld 2 is beyond brutal. The track hurtles forward with unstoppable pace: swung synth-stab rhythms and clattering hi-hats combine to create a class-A banger or a big room, peak time floor killer. Serious weapon alert! Slightly more of a warm-up track, milder & more dubby, Mind Meld 1 is the sparser, subtler of the two. More restraint is exercised with regards this track’s ferocity with tension built & sustained throughout via minor undulations in melodic tone and deft deployment of classic 909 hats. Classy, dub-inflected techno at its best!

Jacob B’s crafty, industrial take on Mind Meld 2 has all the soul proper techno music should have, managing to tow the line between hard and soft in minimalistic fashion throughout. Nick Elia dives down deep with gurgling acid bass that lends the original material a trance-like quality without compromising on fierceness. Republic Artists Records boss Thomas Tesla maintains the energy sets by Gala in his own style. Last but not least, Arthur Keen’s is arguably the calmest of the bunch. Keen reworks the original material into a cooler tempo-ed, stylish chuggy groover of a psychedelic-leaning big room techno track.

Today’s DT:Premiere comes from the new and exciting label called Injected Poison Records. Based in Spain, they have had a really solid output of tough and hypnotic Techno from the likes of Radial, Jonas Kopp, Reeko to Christian Wunsch.

The track we chose is by the label boss himself @JosePouj and the named after the EP “Regeneration” that also features killer works from Groof, Energun and Positive Merge.

Jose concocts a crisp vision, that is driving from the start. Sonic stabs flash passed as it powers forward and builds tension, where the groove fuelled bass line groove is a real highlight rarely letting up. He creates an epic build throughout and plenty of shimmering to rough textures filling the mix. Quality, spaced out Techno.

Mysterious hardware live act Anml Mthr presents his third release on Florian Meindl's FLASH Recordings imprint and delivers another acid driven, oldschool orientated four tracker. 
The austrian Techno scene in the 90s with leading figures like Electric Indigo, Patrick Pulsinger, Tina 303 or Christopher Just, just to name a few, was a huge inspiration to him and this can be heard in his rough pumping subbasses and acid lines.
Acid Wasp is a manifestation of his very unique view on the 90s underground Techno movement and modern recording and performance techniques with mainly modular synthesizers and small boutique hardware.

Mancunian maestro Setaoc Mass return for his second outing on Soma with the Fortnight EP. Drenched in his typical hard hitting yet meticulous produced style, Sam drops 4 top quality tracks and includes a special bonus track for the digital EP. 

Time opens the EP with a particularly hypnotic sound and a definite driving pace as swelling and pulsing background atmospheres give this a quite aggressive backbone. Bluebells is yet another dance floor rocking track that hits the ground running right from the start. Razor sharp polyrhythmic structures keep the track interesting while intense percussive workouts provide the power. Title track Fortnight delves deeper whilst still remaining true to Sam’s direct and tough sound; don’t let this deeper side fool you, all the hallmarks of a proper banger remain intact! Chaos closes out things with a more groove laden and emotive tone as shuffling percussive elements funk things up before subtle synths work their way in giving the track a more melodic feel than the previous. Digital Bonus, Necessary Evil, is a straight up, no nonsense dance floor workout.

Paul Ritch is back home with four intense tracks followed by a deep and dark interpretation from Mexican Ricardo Garduno. On this EP it’s all about Pressure. "Mental Pressure" takes the lead with obsessive sequences, asymmetrical vocals that go back and forth and spacey elements that end up to a very special arrangement.
 
With "Macro Pressure" Paul wastes no time by taking things much forward with percussive workouts leading the charge while things get more serious with "Under Pressure" where sub-heavy elements create a dark and forceful track with periodical screams.
 
"Electrik Pressure" creates an electrifying environment and guarantees the crowd’s positive reaction on the dancefloor. Closing out this EP Ricardo has prepared a hypnotic and functional tool with clean synth lines, diverse noises and a signature kick/hat groove.

Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late 90’s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene.

He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV.

In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests.
