I normally spend hours thinking about how to make music sound interesting and exciting enough for you guys to want to check out amongst the piles of shit which, let's be real, we all get sent each week , making wading through promos more like pulling teeth than picking up girls.
And as I started to do this, I came across this ep, described in our man emoh's words. And even tho I've heard and loved the ep for ages, this made me love it all again.

After three years intense training with master Stretos (known to many as 'Flume'), my perfectionist demeanour is finally satisfied, giving me the green light to put out my first original productions.

"I want you to write a different genre every week to develop your palate & abilities" were my instructions.

Finding the time to meet this goal? Near impossible, but attempting to do so has been one the most beneficial steps taken in my musical career.

In “Left Your Love”, underground house group Climbers craft deep house sound and airy vocals into a late-night masterpiece.  The track begins with a thumping, warm kick, as light strings float lazily above.  Distant vocal rises with soft chords into the first chorus.  Vocalist Yasmine Azaiez drifts above, moving gently between registers.  An active bassline trades with the kick below.  Light rhythmic hits surround the listener as an organ rises, echoing through space.  Verses feature strings and melancholy vocals, and push the groove forward.

With the worldwide success of our Soulection Compilation Volume One which featured some of the most promising producers of our generation two years ago in January 2011, it was essential to create volume two. It's amazing to reflect on our progression and how far we've come. Here we are 27 releases later with our first official record! It has almost been a year since we started to compile this project. The Time in Between captures genre-bending compositions from creative an entire year, this compilation delivers a timeless journey through future bass, boom bap, glitchy uptempo soulful melodies and then some. Soulection releases the Time in Between putting a time stamp on the unique musical epoch that is 2013. By serving up genre-vague and undefinable sounds to the people first, the label maintains and reinforces the relevance and need for this timeless sound. 
 

These specific artists are all Soulection affiliated and we feel that every track on here has a "timeless' feel to it.
