In this episode, FULL LOTUS presents 'The Perpetual Dancefloor', the new VA from Parvati Records. Full Lotus is a Psychedelic DJ based in London and signed to Parvati Records. At the age of 12 he discovered the word 'psychedelic' whilst reading a comic and after looking up the meaning, decided that it could be fun. Following a trip to Goa in late 1995, he became hooked on the music he heard at the beach parties and upon returning in early 1996, he began attending numerous Goa style parties in London. The following year he started organising trance/techno events with a friend and started to DJ in London. In 1998 he became a resident DJ for the Kundalini party organisation, and started the Full Lotus project. After hearing the first Parvati Records compilation, First Step, he embraced this particular sound and became one of the first DJ’s in the UK to play it at parties. With over thirty years of experience behind the decks, he is a regular fixture on the London psychedelic trance scene and currently plays what is known these days as dark/forest psychedelic trance or as he used to call it, twisted night time funk. His DJ sets are performed with the intention of making both your body and mind dance. "Psychedelia is in the mind of the beholder." This set contains the tracks released on the latest Parvati Records compilation due on 3rd June 2022.

TerraTech - Magic Link

Osciloptix is the last member of an ancient civilisation of insectoids, known as the Oscilopsians, which inhabited the earth 400 million years ago during the Devonian period.

These crepuscular, insect-like creatures, staged planet-wide synchronised symphonies, at dusk and dawn, that would turn any stagnant body of water into a temporary cymatic masterpiece.

Facing extinction due to the evolution of amphibians at the beginning of the Carboniferous era, in an attempt to migrate to a different timeline, the Oscilopsians built a time portal deep beneath the planet's surface, in the great caverns and harnessed the earth's abundant geo thermal energy to power it.

When the portal was activated, the immense power drain caused the earth's magnetic poles to shift and the portal to implode, obliterating every living being in the caverns, collapsing the chambers and starting the continental drift of the tectonic plates of Gondwana.

Being late for the great migration, Osciloptix escapes the cataclysm that brought the entire insectoid civilisation to an end.

Feeling an incomprehensible disconnection from the hive mind and realising that his entire species is gone, he burrows deep underground, encasing himself in a cocoon, awaiting to resurface in the 21st century and carry on the legacy of the Oscilopsians.
