ONE049 is another in a series of VA releases on the label featuring Yamen & Eda, Leeds based Mariiin, Ciel, NorthSouth owner Sam Bangura, Duowe & Picasso, and Subb-an himself. 

Montpelier based duo Yamen & EDA are no strangers to the label. They make their return with 'Cut The Cheese' - a combination of tight drums, Detroit-tinged synths and a circling organ bass. 

Mariiin then follows up with a kinetic tool evincing her skills as a seasoned and well respected DJ. Tumbling breaks are pinned by a 4/4 kick while interweaving sweeps and filters recall the atmosphere of some of the Swag classics. 

London favourite Sam Bangura then follows on from his recent solo EP on Albeit Records with a sharp, Minimal groove that will slot nicely into his own sets as trippy, dissected vocals...

I don’t think that it’s somehow possible to miss any of the Rawax labels family. Robert Drewek has been doing some kind of “mulenial” (I mean, iO (Mulen)-ial) work during all these years and his family of labels is, simply put, enormous. Of course, during these years it became home to a lot of artists from Ukraine. Now there will be a small addition to the bunch, since Rawax is welcoming a duo from Odesa, which you probably associate with their main electronic city spot – Port. I’m talking about Yate. The release had been planned long ago, but since there were a lot of pressing delays, it will only be released in Autumn. Over the past couple of years, Frits Wentink has blessed us with four releases as part of the FRITS X WOLF series. Each 12” showcasing Frits classy & impeccable productions. To round off this chapter WOLF and Frits present a special remix EP with fresh takes of their favourite tracks from the series.

Up first is Bonafide legend, Ian Pooley with his exceptional take on the killer About You, even blessing us with some bonus beats.

On the flip, Prince Palmer elevates Intentions into a peak time burner that is sure to turn any dancefloor into a frenzy. Rounding off the EP, Dominic Oswald lends his signature sound to Club Land, deep, groovy and hitting all the right spots.
