Urodzony w sierpniu 1985 roku w Gdańsku - Marcin Stępień aka Neptun 505 , nie posiada wykształcenia muzycznego jednak może powiedzieć, że wychował się przy muzyce, a miłość do dźwięków odziedziczył po wujkach.
Słuchając od hip-hopu po dance, zatrzymał się przy muzyce elektronicznej i zaczął zgłębiać jej korzenie.
Michael Cretu i jego projekt Enigma, Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre to ludzie, którzy wywarli największy wpływ na Marcina.
Własne produkcje i remiksy zaczął tworzyć w 1999 roku, ale rok 2008 był prawdziwym przełomem.
Dziś współpracował już z takimi wytwórniami jak m.in Manual Music, Magnitude, Particles, Bonzai Progressive, Electronic Tree, Stellar Fountain, Mistique, LuPS, Suffused.
Jego utwory uzyskały wsparcie takich legend jak Markus Schulz, Solarstone, Roger Shah, Kintar, Gai Barone, Solid Stone, Tucandeo, Dale Middleton, Basil O'Glue… i wielu innych wspaniałych artystów.
W roli dj'a można było go usłyszeć w trójmiejskich klubach takich jak np. Protokultura, Carnivale Bar, Carnivale Sopot, Buffet a także w legendarnym Sfinksie 700,
Gospodarz comiesięcznego podcastu Tricolors w Radiu Proton.
Neptun 505 wciąż szuka nowych dźwięków, mieszając gatunki, aby zdefiniować własne brzmienie.
