“I was working on a funky groove and felt like a good French vocal on top would be the key to making it work. I heard about Emma El Shir through a friend and decided to reach out. We had good connection and understanding about the vibe of the track and when Emma sent me some the vocals she’d been playing around with for the track, they worked perfectly. They add a certain edge.”
