In this release, we proudly feature an artist with an extensive history in the Colombian music scene. Mauro embarked on his musical journey at a young age, initially focusing on music production within the realms of Hip Hop and Reggae. Then at the age of 17 he ventured into DJing and event promotion, organizing memorable gatherings at iconic venues such as Chacha and Cinema.

However, a significant turning point in his career came when he was invited to perform the Warm Up set for Blond:ish at Baum Club, one of Bogotá's most legendary nightspots. This opportunity led to a residency at Baum Club that spanned approximately two years. Mauro also secured residencies at other notable venues, including Vlak, further solidifying his presence in Bogotá's electronic music landscape. His talents have graced the stages of major festivals like Baum Festival and Baum Park.

Building on his accomplishments, Mauro founded Ipsum Records, initially focusing on vinyl-only releases before expanding into digital formats. As the years passed, his career continued to evolve, culminating in the establishment of his own club, Menos Uno. This unique Bogotá venue has become synonymous with House, Minimal House, and Microhouse music. Mauro has had the privilege of sharing the decks with renowned artists such as Satoshie Tomiie, Archie Hamilton, Enzo Siragusa, Mihai Pol, Fabe, Cabanne, Priku, Audio Werner, and even enjoyed a memorable B2B session with the queen herself, tINI.

For the seventh edition we welcome a romanian heavyweight, which im very happy to have on this podcast, Plusculaar! Born in Romania in the late 80’s, Plusculaar got in touch with the local club scene at a very young age due to his brother’s sake and he suddenly fell in love for that new dreamy world. That was a crucial moment of his life, knowing that music would have been an essential part of his life. Since then, his interests have been 100% focused on music and he rapidly learned first how to djing and then how to produce his own tracks. Moving at the age of 18 to Amsterdam, he started playing both there and on his native Romania, counting more than 100+ venues in his home-country.
His superlative skills behind the decks merged with the constantly growing experience and his finest music selection led him to play in United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, France, Lebanon, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Holland, and all over Romania, both in clubs, big festival and exclusive intimate private parties.
This whismical journey continued during the years, and in 2014 Plusculaar took one of the biggest step of his career, starting his label called ‘Binaural Arts’ – a place to spread his love for music and idea of sound – which releases music both on vinyl and digital from renowned artists and newcomers and of course his own productions.
Meticulous and mindful of every detail, he saw his tracks being released on famous labels such as iO Mulen’s fabulous label, “Pleasure Zone” , “Zbroy” , “WE or US” , “Habitat” ,  “Archipel Recordings”, “Conceptual Records”, “Tzinah”, “Hashplant”, “Crocus”, “Inwave” and “Metroline LTD” to name a few, always providing serious micro house bouncy beats combined his unmistakble groovy hypnotic touch.

A Brief Utopia (A project by Jinjé) A Brief Utopia was born from an EP released earlier this year by Jinjé (aka, Lee J Malcolm from Vessels) on Scene Unseen. Stepping away from his usual production duties and focusing more on his passion for live drumming and percussion instruments. This was the starting block for much of the composition on the this record. He quickly realised that this would be a brilliant thing to do live and reached out to fellow musicians Danny Templeman (Submotion Orchestra, Gentleman’s DubClub) and Nathan Moseley (Fwar, Brolin) to put together a high energy show aimed at clubs and festivals alike.A Brief Utopia brings a colourful, vibrant and visually engaging experience. Drawing on a love of music from around the world focused through a lens of live drumming, tuned percussion and psychedelic synth work.
